The new Xbox One layout?
Is it just me or does this new layout make Xbox the complete gaming system right now?
No hate on playstation, but boys you need to see this shit, Microsoft smashed it with this update!
Edit: Seeing good and bad reviews... Thought more people would have liked it.

3 RepliesIt's alright. Takes a bit to get used to it. If only they hadn't pushed a bad update last Friday for preview members then the majority of us woundt have to factory reset from being stuck at the 'green/black screen of death'. In all I miss having party and msg apps snapped on the side cause when I'm in a raid with players from the forums idk who the hell is talking since I can't pinpoint their voice to the gamer tag tldr-; It's great Bad update pushed through for preview members resulting in factory reset Miss party/msg apps snapped on side All hail flying spaghetti monster

Really liking the backwards compatibility as well. Yeah I was enjoying during the preview program even with some of the bugs. It's a big improvement from what they had before. It still needs work though.

5 RepliesFun fact, if you double tap the white button on your control (like when you screen shot and stuff) your friends and notifications come up now. Just posting for those who haven't figured it out yet. Makes game invites so much easier.

Also, any 3D compatible 360 games are still 3D compatible on the Xbox One (Gears of War 3 has this capability).

They've taken a lot of user feedback and requests and added it in and over the months the UI just keeps getting better and feature rich with monthly updates from user requests. And this latest one just is awesome. And also the Xbox Elite controller is a pretty good show they listen and gear towards the hardcore gamers. The PS4 UI seriously is feeling dated and exceptionally boring...I still like my PS4 very much, but it's still the same boring UI from the beginning. Not much has changed or added in comparison. Very impressed with the Xbox One lately, far more than the other guys. Also the backwards compatibility is awesome. Definitely a hats off to Microsoft for the latest update.

I'm on the preview dashboard program and had it for a while. Had loads of issues with party chat a little while ago, and another issue didn't recognise me as signed in when playing certain games. Hard to hard reset every day for a week! Last night there were notification problems, people weren't seeing invites and messages sent to them. It sure looks nicer and the swipe-in sidebar is a better idea, but why take options away? Can't send party and game invites together now. Can't 'close' individual apps to stop them running, always helpful when the party app was playing up. Can't see who is in your friends' parties anymore. Its a step in the right direction with a little step back too. Hopefully will improve over time.

Glad it's fully released was buggy as hell during the preview program but that was too be expected. Once I found my way around if I started liking it.

Yes. I got it a few weeks ago from preview, and it was buggy at first, but it's amazing. It's so much easier to navigate xbox now. Press home button and you have your messages, party, notifications, and settings on a scroll down. To be honest, idk why ppl complain about it.

Yeah it's pretty neat. No more, "I can't see my friends list" or, "party disconnected", how about "i didn't receive your invite". I wait..... All that shit is still going on with Microshit!!
