They just don't make Scout Rifles like they used to...
TL;DR: I've having issues finding a Scout Rifle I truly like in the Taken King.
I haven't been able to find a high impact/ low RoF Scout Rifle akin to my Aries Nemesis X4 in TTK. All of the ones I have found are either Medium Impact/ Medium RoF or Low Impact/ High RoF. Gheleon's Demise was the last Scout Rifle I found like it, but I could never get a roll I liked. I have an Omolon Scout Rifle, but I yearn for something with more power. Have any of you found anything like Gheleon's, yet?
Edit: Praise be unto Rahool. He gave me a Last Extremity with Triple Tap, Third Eye, and Extended Mag. My quest is over.

Tlaloc, tread upon stars, dis-43, crucible scout rifle, raid scout rifle all beast and that's just off the top of my head. Everyone's entitled to their opinion but there's a broader variety of good ones now instead of like 1 or 2 per dlc like before so I'm not really sure what you're getting at with this.

I hear you. If you look at all the subtypes of other primary weapons, there's so much variation, then there's the 3 dmg models of scout rifles with no exceptions to the rule. And they removed Firefly from the High Impact class of scout rifles to boot. That being said, try the Tlaloc (warlock only) exotic scout, its ridiculously good when your super is charged. Also, the Dead Orbit's Hung Jury from the vendor is all the rage.
