Destiny Patch 1.2.0.5 Sneak Peek Update: Patch goes live 10:00am PDT
Tomorrow, assuming everything goes as planned, Destiny Hot Fix 1.2.0.5 will go live. One of the bigger issues that will be fixed will be the Husk of the Pit not dropping. The Husk is back and better than ever... well it's the same, but you will be able to get it now. It's drop rate is actually being increased.
"How much is it being increased?" you might ask.
Read the patch notes tomorrow that will be released at or around the same time the patch goes live, and the dev team will let you know. The Husk fix is not the only thing being changed/added and the patch notes will go into detail on some of the other small changes coming in 1.2.0.5. See you in the morning Guardians.

Guess I'll check later if that bounty is available this time. edit: vid added…sorry for the dead time in the middle, it was from a couple weeks back and I didn't notice the bug right away while running it.

8 RepliesIt's hilarious how your post basically says "Tomorrow around 10am" is when the patch goes live and everyone is farming the Husk as we speak. Unless I forgot how to English your post is a clear indication that the Patch will go live on the 12th of August and not the 11th.

After running the mission 6 times, husk of the pit dropped. I'd say it's been fixed.

1 ReplyDont really care about a husk of the pit drop fix when bungie still have server connection issues. Haven't been able to log in for a week on my ps4 because of a marionberry error code. Internet functions works on everything else ps4 related and I can login through my ps3 . Safe to say you have a major problem with your server bungie . Hot fix that please

An its the only error code I have gotten all day since your patch went live . I wonder if you clowns really know what Webster's definition of rare is? 6 RepliesSo you upgraded the drop of husk of the pit by 150%?! Question is... What was the % to begin with? I have done about 50 kills in the last hour and nothing! So if it was 1% and not its 2.5% that's just wrong!

15 RepliesThis update is terrible. The pvp update should have come hand in hand with the new weapon tuning. Even less special ammo and heavy spawns once per game??? Wtf! The more important issue that should have been addressed is spawn campers and having an immunity at spawn. We will now see a rise in invective and ice breaker in the crucible.

Clearly TTK content is starting to be pushed out to the systems as well in this patch. The Hot Fix items would not warrant a 7GB update.
