Thorns in iron banner
Why do even more people use them in iron banner than regular crucible. An hour in and I literally haven't been killed by another gun. Stop being boring the lot of you.
Anyone saying git gud I haven't dropped below 1.6kd in any of the games. I just don't understand why its gone from 60% in control to 90% in IB

I played JUST LIKE YOU, the last 3 iron banners I took 2 characters fully to rank 5, so thats 6 times thru iron banner up to rank 5, and I rarely EVER saw more than 1 or 2 Thorns on the opposing team. Maybe 2 characters would use it per game, and I never EVEN ONCE NOTICED IT BEING DIFFICULT TO COMBAT. Never once did I think "gee thats a lot of thorn and its SOOO hard to kill the guys who use it". On the contrary I can use any legendary hand cannon, from Ill Will (rolled for the PVP cheese luck and final round), to a Timur's Lash Spec'd with just a simple perfect balance (the impact is beastly), to anything from Red Death to a simple pulse called Spare Change .25. Seriously stop being effing babies you pathetic whiny girls. Your point is even more idiotic because wouldn't it make more sense to have MORE thorns in Iron Banner...where level increases do matter? If its standard crucible where bungie attempts the ridiculous Balance the playing field level advantages disabled....thats the point where thorn is less than useful. Standard Crucible thorn is worthless compared to other legendaries.

I think this is the most thorns I have seen in an IB in a long time lol. It's like hey let's get it in while we can. That's ok I will keep TKO you all with my GD.

4 RepliesBecause thorn is exotic and easy to ascend. And lvl advantages are enabled. Since a lot of players for IB are pve players looking for etheric light or just like the gear this makes since. For the average pve player ascending a legendary weapon that is only useful in pvp makes no since unless you have tons of etheric light laying around, which would mean you either play for the gear or fun. Also thorn is probably one of the easiest good crucible weapons to get. Red death and TLW put you at the mercy of RNG and Xur.

1 ReplyPeople don't go to IB to be unique snowflakes, they go in with best weapons to get rep in a limited amount of time so they can get loot at the end, right now best weapon is thorn, get over it or don't play, choices are yours.

Man thorn was perfect before any of the patches my baby would poop on people used to be the few proud using it then people cried its weak now it's just ridiculous....sitting in my vault
