People say we want everything nerfed. No we don't, we simply want [b][i]VIABLE[/i][/b] options for the average player when playing crucible. Right now the time to kill on exotic handcannons exceed any other gun (with the exception of a few pulse rifles), so it only makes sense to use those guns. Based on the range, stability, accuracy, etc. of TLW and Thorn, the TTK is entirely too short. Makes the gun work in almost every situation and that's OP.

The only thing I want done to thorn is for the DoT to not make my screen twich and to change color. It's annoying as hell and distracting. Other than that, I don't have a problem with it

5 RepliesI get smoked by it all the time, but I have it and enjoy when I'm doing the smoking. That being said, I usually only use it when some a-hole keeps killing me with it, or when I need assists or hand cannon kills for bounty. Normally I use gheleons or if I'm dicking around nlb. People who want it nerfed just haven't put in the work or haven't gotten the bounty to get it.

Balance the weapons...So gamers have various weapons to be competitive with based on their play style and strategy.

4 RepliesNo, Bungie has proven incompetent to "fixing" weapons. What they will do is target the whole handcannon weapon class in both PVE and PVP and make them useless. Then the nerf herders will be after something else to ruin until we would be better off hitting each other with pillows. Why do you think it's once in a blue moon that you see someone using an auto-rifle. Because they were made absolutely useless after the unwarranted 4 nerfs on the weapon class. No Bungie just need to stop tinkering with the weapons.

5 RepliesBefore you want to respond with something childish, read my entire response. Nope. Just nerf the ARs again...see that sounded as intelligent as everyone else saying Thorn should be nerfed. I agree with some people saying the range should be reduced, aside from that, leave it alone. Reduce the range on all hand cannons as far as that goes. I bet you that over half of the people that vote yes either gave up on the bounty, or didn't pick it up because they heard it was too hard. The main reason that I use the Thorn is because most people use it, and I am one that has the option to level the playing field.

If auto rifles got a buff it wouldn't be as bad. Suros would destroy thorn users. People tend to forget the chance of health regen after a kill with Suros

6 RepliesThorn, Last Word, and Hawkmoon need a slight to moderate nerf. Handcannons in general need a slight nerf, especially to range. Autorifles need a slight buff, especially to critical damage.
