question for the 32 only people
Why won't you take a 31 into Crotas end on hard mode? Even if he has maxed gally he is worth more to the fireteam then a 32 with hunger of crota but you still decline him? Why?

It's very risky that's why, you take more damage and give less damage as us 32's take less damage and give more damage. Make since? It's not bad to have 1-2 31's in there idc but if it's 3 31's we have a problem.

31s are acceptable ! We ran CE on hard and the two we had 31s were ok at not dying , it must be said though those 31s either had galla or hunger of crota maxed out and had plenty of heavy ammo synth . Or were a titan with defender on to help.on the other hand we had a few 31s with no way to heal themselves and did no dps on crota those are the 31s to look out for

I will happily take an experienced and good weapon 31 in. The only reason I don't want to take too many is due to the amount of damage they can give and take.

14 RepliesMaxed Gjallarhorn with a 31 is not worth more than a 31 with hunger of crota. Hunger does more damage to give majors(crota) and leaves an exotic slot open for Suros, red death, icebreaker. If Gjallarhorn could actually damage crota it would be more useful but only being able to take down a shield doesn't justify the use

You say "worth more", but I don't think you understand what that really means in CE HM.... A jellyhorn doesn't make you worth more. It just means you got a lucky drop.

I'll take a 31 into hard crota but no more than one lvl31 and we always put him on boomer distraction....im not an elitist lvl32 but being a lvl31 makes a difference to damage when trying to bring crota to his knee

Why you have to ask a question like this shows the dissapointing mental-processing skills you possess. Like honestly, why are people [i]still[/i] asking this question after VoG? As a 32 you do more damage and take less damage than a 31. That's it. Nothing else, no mystery, no politics, nothing. Why I'm sure many of us agree they would rather take a skilled lvl 31 over a 32 there's no way of knowing that until they actually get in the game, unless ofc it's your friend or something. So when you see a 32, why take the 31? Simple as that. How you couldn't come to that conclusion by yourself over the course of several months makes me lol

You'll still do less damage than a 32 with max hunger. Either way I'd take a 31. You would get a swift boot if they weren't holding their own though

My team beat Crota on HM with three level 31s. People are just stuck up I guess.

Nearly all of my hard mode completions have had at least 1 lvl 31. It really doesn't make a difference unless they are reckless.
