Gawd! What's with all these people calling Xūr Zur? His name obviously starts with an X, not a Z. Get it right folks! It's X-ur.
For those who think it's pronounced Zur, you should go have your head Z-rayed.
Edit: I can see some people don't understand the satire here. It's a comment about the numerous "Gjallarhorn is pronounced..." threads I've seen. I tried to lighten it up with a stupid joke, but it's not going over very well. Perhaps I should include a #sarcasm tag?

Lol nice post op

2 RepliesEdited by Barrier: 1/29/2015 10:10:08 PMPerhaps you shouldn't have posted at all? You know, let these pointless posts die out?

Op is 100 percent correct. X men isn't pronounced Z men. It's ecks men
-
4 RepliesThen why doesn't xylophone have the x sound

What's a Xur or zur for that matter?

1 ReplySo I should call it a x-ylophone

Perhaps you should come up with better jokes.

You just need to know that his name I think is Norse or Latin.

Edited by UnwanteDreamz: 1/29/2015 9:56:12 PMHis name is Squidface Coinwhore

2 RepliesEdited by Snoop_TX: 1/29/2015 9:52:02 PMGet you Mitch Hedberg in when you can. I thought it was clever. You either loved it or hated it...or you thought it was okay. Most people on here are too young to even know who he is.
-
2 RepliesI can prove this wrong with 1 fact. The postmaster occasionally says "package for xur.. Who is xur?" And it's pronounced with the Z sound like xylophone
-
9 RepliesI totally got it. I'm a big fan of Mitch Hedberg, R.I.P.

To all of those who didn't see the satire tag and actually believe this is true X when at the beginning of a word is often pronounced more similar to the way Z is pronounced. Here are a couple examples: -Xenomorph -Xylophone
Here's another example- Xur
-
No, it's pronounced "SURE"! Yes, I saw the #satire, I'm joining in.
