Petition to get back the current PS exclusives and the new PS exclusive strike in "The Dark Below" before Fall 2015!!
Firstly, thanks Bungie for letting Activison announce this and not yourselves.. great respect for the community there!
I love this game. and slowly through patching I'm starting to see the full potential of this game come to life..
Now down to the gritty stuff.
I don't understand why as an Xbox One player I am going to have to wait until fall 2015 for the 2 strikes that are ps exclusive. 1. Dust Palace. and 2. The undying Mind (Dark below content) this will mean that you are denying Xbox gamers just over a quarter of all the Strike content for Destiny! its not fair. (by the way Xbox gamers make up the majority of your community today and actually have made up almost the entirety of your community since 2002!!!)
As an Xbox gamer I am going to have to pay the same amount as a PlayStation gamer for each expansion but get less content??

I understand that there are contracts in place etc with Sony but surely this can be rectified if enough people agree and enough pressure is put on Bungie/Activision.

I have a feeling that the Xbox players will miss out again with the release of the second DLC, calling it an "expansion" at this point is laughable. People are pissed for good reason, they paid the same amount of money for the same pass but are not going to get the same content cause they don't play on the preferred console. On top of that they will have to pay extra for the left out content cause it was not included with the pass. It's shit like this that is ruining gaming for everyone.

I mostly agree with this post. The only difference is like cod if they where going to do timed exclusives a full year is two freaking long. A month or two maybe even three but a full year? Come on. They better hope im even still playing this game for that long. Because with things like this I probably won't..... I bet they also get a full year timed exclusive on the next dlc making it out 3 strikes Xbox players won't get but are paying the same price.

I completely understand your anger. I'm on PS but I also think that this policy should be reconsidered for the future or this game will go down the drain. When it launched we on PS got one additional strike for the same price. This was something to be angry about for an XBoxer but nothing too outrageous. It was only 1 out of 6. That gave us PS-players 20% more content when it came to strikes. I think there should be a line drawn exactly there. Because with the new DLC we will be given 1 addional out of 2 total. That is 50%. If I were on XBox I would immidiatly sell this game and never touch it again. It will all come to XBox ok, granted... But how are they suppose to enjoy the game long enough to still play it then? I certainly see no way. Are they suppose to be satisfied with 1 new strike every couple of months until the end of 2015? This is outrageous. And on top it is -from a business perspective- incredibly stupid and shortsighted. Timed exclusives are bad enough for us gamers in general because we will no be able to play any crossplatform-game completely in the near future, but making the exclusive stuff 50% of the actual content is simply stupid. I know that no petition in the world will change that but I would really recommend every XBox gamer to sell this game because this has nothing to do with exclusivity this is a rip off. Earlier this morning I was ok with it until I realized they only get HALF of the new content. And this is completely out of the question.

They have signed contract to make these timed exclusives and such, I don't think they will change that just because there is a "fan petition". Don't get any hopes up.

5 RepliesI play the game on the xbox one and I honestly don't mind if the PS get some exclusive content for a temporary period (xbox players have spoiled like this for quite some time). But when that temporary period is at least 1 year then that's just a little unfair. I think 1 month is fair, 3 months at most. Having content that you paid for withheld from you for an entire year is just disheartening.
