So where in the OP's post did it state that he wanted a damage buff? That is what you were inferring that the OP was crying about, right? The OP stated that EVERYONE was going to be highly disappointed if the consumable ONLY CHANGED APPEARANCE. It was cool how you took those two words out of context.
