Has anyone tried consuming one and going to the remains in the Loot Cave?

I just used one and disturbed the remains and tried using the loot cave and if I'm not mistaken it is working I'm getting drops pretty frequently there after I did it :D HAPPY LOOTING!

Yes, the loot cave works still. I tried it out for a minute a couple of days ago and got plenty of drops.
