Is it just me or would you guys prefer a special Halloween shader?

i rather not have anything Halloween in the game, as its goes on way way way in the future and by then i hope all holiday events have been forgoten.

you should be working at Bungie...and not the TEAM that thought this idea up..it doesnt even work also, when i have to uploaded a new update on Destiny it seems to kick me out of the game more often than not.. what a mistake it was to buy this game... SMH

I got this lunar something shader that is orange and blue yesterday. Don't like it but a black and orange shader would be sick

I already tried to discard mine. It's a silly gimmick. Nothing tangible or beneficial in any perceivable way. I get why devs do this stuff, it's festive and some people like it. I'm just more into things that help my character tell a story. A year from now, I'd like to be able to put on a Halloween shader that tells people I was an active Guardian during the Halloween 2014. There could be other rewards like this too such as a Halloween themed rare weapon or a piece of armor. Perhaps a Ghost shell. Something better than a consumable that does nothing.

That's how most events in games are. Lots of novelty stuff and some mini games lol. *shrugs*

Halloween themed ghost shell would be cool. Maybe like an orange one that resembles a pumpkin and a ghoul looking one and maybe a spider one :D different types so everyone doesn't have the same :)

I don't understand where you are coming from at all. It is pretty damn awesome. I had a huge grin on my face every time I heard the howls and screams!

1) it doesn't even work for a lot of people 2) it was just a last minute thing that they threw in 3) couldn't they at least spend time on a shader or something that doesn't just last 30min? 4) it doesn't change gameplay at all. it only changes some noises you hear ( and that's if it even works for you)

That what event items are. They're just novelty. Some consumable that creates some effect but doesn't't affect gameplay at all *shrugs*. I'm just glad I didn't't have to waste time on mini games to get it lol.

If the mini game was fun/funny, which most are in games, I wouldn't have a problem, I would actually prefer it. Also, a consumable that only last 30 min is just stupid. Why couldn't they at least give you a shader or class item that can last forever? Oh yeah, because it was very last minute.

Eh, the mini games are usually lame -_- and most of the consumables are just instant uses. Since we don't have a vanity system yet there's not really anything they could offer us except stuff we could wear in the tower. Then, we'd have to take everything off and put the vanity set on, then take that off and put our field gear on and store the vanity stuff in the bank. As unique shaders aren't really that easy to come bye usually, I can understand why they didn't make one. In any case the darkmoon fair was pretty underwhelming, even in BC. Give it some time and Destiny will find it's groove. If you don't have time then, well, you'll find something else. Personally it's something. I feel like Church sometimes listening to Tucker being upset that the Reds got a warthog while the blues were getting a tank -_-. "Oh, you could complain about anything." Lol It's all good though. Keep doing you. They'll probably do more stuff like you're looking for in the future, but if right now is make or break for you then you might not be around to see it T_T. If that's you, that's coo.

Sorry, this game is way to half-assed when it comes to everything. Once games like Dragon Age and even Assassins Creed hit, I'm never touching Destiny again unless a miracle happens, which, let's be honest, won't.
