Best way to farm Strange Coins and Legendaries
I have recently hit level 20 and have some strange coin to buy gear of Xur, but im 6 off. I was wondering what a good way to farm strange coin, and legendaries are?

Heroic strikes can get you 9 per character per week. Seeing as you just hit 20, that's not likely to be an immediate option for you, but doing it on 22 will at least get you 3. Doing the Vanguard Strike playlist and Crucible tends to get you both strange coins themselves and engrams which decrypt into strange coins.

1 ReplyFarming legendaries is easy and consistent: 1. Join a faction (not necessary but it does speed things up) 2. Do your level appropriate strike playlists to get vanguard marks (level 26 strike playlists net you the most marks for time spent) 3. Play Crucible matches to get Crucible Marks 4. Do bounties to help raise your reputation 5. Purchase your legendaries from the vendors This is the most straight forward, fun, non-mindless way to get legendaries. Strange coins: 1. Weekly heroic strikes net you 3 coins 2. Playing Crucible randomly get you some 3. Playing strike playlists randomly get you some TLDR: Complete level 26 strike playlists and crucible matches until you hit your 100 mark caps and you'll be able to buy legendaries and exotics on a weekly basis while enjoying the game and not relying on a retarded broken boring mundane loot cave.

Try events harder than your lvl. Every time I found a legendary or was rewarded nicely it was because I was trying everything at least one to two levels ahead and stuff just dropped! But maybe I'm just lucky. The heroic's do give out coins tho!
