Who else is going to go for the PVE over the PVP? The Crucible will be epic, but I'd rather put in the time to explore.

Basically my schedule is looking like waking up to some PvE in the morning. Then some half and half PvE and PvP after breakfast, until around 6-10pm which will be mainly PvP. Finally after 11pm'ish, when the online play gets more stagnant, I'll be back to the vast world of PvE.
-
I'm getting this game strictly for PvE, solo and co-op with friends.
-
Definitely going for PVE. Makes me feel more accomplished when I meet a goal with friends. But I will give PVP a shot since there are quite a few different ways to play against others.
-
I'm 50/50 on the subject, maybe leaning more towards PvE cause it looks so good!
-
1 ReplyBuying this game for PvE not PvP. I prefer playing with people, not against them.
-
Both definitely tho since you can have 3 characters probably level one through full pve to experience the story and explore
-
PvP is fun on a drunk night or competition mood but great stories make the game I'll play mostly PvP
-
I find greater enjoyment from working with people instead of against them. I'm not saying my competitive spirit is completely gone, but it just seems to find a back burner to things like story, co-op, and gaining loot together.
-
I wish we could attack other players while exploring in PVE...otherwise, all my exotic/legendary gear will only be useful on AI
-
5 RepliesAm I the only one here who hated those "lag kill", when I wanna play PvP it better be 60FPS no freaking lag. Ima stick with PvE, the PvP looks way to freaking unbalance and the stats on weapon are so complicated on top of it. Wtf is the difference between ATTACK and IMPACT ?
-
3/4 pvp 1/4 pve
-
A bit of both.
-
2 RepliesDefinitely gonna spend my time exploring.. I'll find time for the crucible but I'm buying this game to get lost for hours
-
Both that's why Destiny is perfect
-
My attention will be mostly on pve, I'll do pvp when the mood strikes me but probably less then 15% of my game time will be in crucible.
-
PVE I find more enjoyable, can explore with friends, pick your targets all at your own pace. As much as I enjoy competition, online can be very intense so when I just want to chill, I'll play PVE even if it's challenging, it's less intense than PVP. I don't mind hitting PVP for the PVE rewards though.
-
What ever levels me up quickiest. If pvp is giving the most XP that's where i'll be....
-
2 RepliesDepends. PvP with friends PVE when I just want to chill Gaming for me is to relax and taking e a break from being a hard working husband and dad. So there will be quite a lot of solo playing for me.
-
Is it too much to ask for both

Edited by What Up Essay: 7/6/2014 2:43:20 PMI've been struggling with this question man ever since I quit playing on 360. After Reach had died off a bit, I went 'screw it' and bought a PS3 Slim (because that 360 was dying). Never quit the shooters though, but man I was missing that Bungie flavour in competitive multiplayer. Didn't matter though, I got distracted with some Blizzard games and really wanted to play Diablo III. Then Destiny came along. 'You're telling me I can take my singleplayer character into multiplayer using the same gear weapons I spent hours on upgrading? And it's a Bungie arena shooter? SWEET' However, the innovating thing was playing in a shared world, encountering other players even though they are on seperate journeys. All I dream of doing, is joining one in his or her adventure and see what stories we get to create in the span of an hour. Guess I found my answer.
PvE you dumb
2 RepliesI personally will put more effort in PvE but some PvP play will be refreshing

10 RepliesI'm a big forum reader, don't make many posts unless I need to make a point. PvP in destiny is the best fps multiplayer experience I've had since halo 1 and 2 and I can even put unreal tournament 3 for PC up there been playing video games since mega man x1 I'm 25 have tried out maaaany games no sarcasm and all different types as well destiny combines strategy skill and just badass ramboness you can become a one man army in the crucible if your skilled enough not to say your gunna die and prob a lot but u can really stay alive if your good. And you got a awesome fire team by your side. I'm a ninja, a nomad and nothing gets me more excited then traveling the universe exploring each end of every planet but after I find my self a epic weapon I'll be taking it into the crucible with my clan to show you guardian who is legend. :) lol see you all starside. -Zealous Gaming- Psn: kage-hachi
