Those Who Played the Alpha, What's the Best Weapon? (Heavies Not Included)
Those who played the alpha, please answer this poll so I can get an idea of what the best weapon to use in the game is. People who played the alpha only.

Personally, I thought the Shotguns and pulse rifles were fun. You will have to customize your Crucible character differently than you would in co-op, however. Auto rifles, shottys and heavies are a must.

I didn't play the alpha, but from watching videos. If you are accurate shot go for hand cannons, snipers, and scout rifles. Saw a lot if ppl using them and not being accurate. Other ones spray and pray. Haha

Auto Rifles were the best all round gun to have... but Shotguns DOMINATED PvP. Scout Rifles were a close second.

There's honestly no better weapon, they all have the same damage range, just depends on what you prefer, automatic, single shot, range etc etc

Pulse Rifles are pretty good, but then again that's all I can really play with. Hand cannons were awesome, but not powerful enough to be worth my time. As far as secondarys go, the best was the sniper rifle for sure. The one I got near the end of the alpha was a two-hit kill on other guardians.

Each weapon has it's own feel to it so all you're going to get is opinions. However in the alpha crucible: snipers, auto rifles, and shotguns were popular and effective.
