I live an apartment and my roommate is pretty messy, and I am really clean (especially in the kitchen). I have grown used to her leaving messes in the Kitchen for a few days, but one thing that has been bothering me is that she uses my plates (I bought an entire set for the apartment so everyone can use them) but she ends up leaving them in her room dirty, rather than put them in the kitchen.
The fact that she hardly ever cleans those plates is annoying, but it's more annoying when they sit in her room and she doesn't put them in the kitchen (where I can at least clean them so I can use them). I think my two of my plates and one of my bowls have been in her room for about a week now.
I am not confrontational enough to actually bring it up, but I was wondering if there is anyway that I can tactfully bring it up without sounding rude.

Edited by Officer Nasty: 5/4/2014 3:54:16 AMYou can just talk to her about it, while being polite, of course. Just say that it bothers you. If you're living with someone, you should be open with them, especially if they're doing something that makes extra work for you.

Stick it in her pooper.

Straight up tell her, you shouldn't have to deal with this. You're being too nice.
