4 Replieslolno It looks terrible.

From what I saw, it looked NOTHING like an ES game. So no thanks.
-
I will play free for first month....if entertain ing...maybe pay 15 bucks a month.
-
Nope.
-
maybe
-
The beta was absolutely abysmal. I probably won't even play it when it goes F2P six months after launch.

1 ReplyIf this is your first mmo you should at least try a sub fee first. FTP mostly sucks. There are a few gems out there but they are usually very limited and cost a ton of money to get anywhere. If eso goes FTP i'll jumo ship. Luckily they have already said they will try everything possible before making it FTP.

Not until they fix the Lore Not until the game feels like the Elder Scrolls

I've got about 9 friends who are getting it and have roped me into doing so as well. I'm just hoping it'll be fun if I'm playing it with a bunch of people I know. Disappointed that they've chosen the Ebonhart Pact though. That faction is probably going to be overpopulated with all the people wanting to be Nords and Argonians.
-
Yes. I'm glad with the fee. Weeds all the undesirables out - mainly the ones who complain about the fee and go all "goes F2P" idiots.

Not until it goes free to play.

I might get elder scrolls online, idk what this elder srouls online game.
-
I might check out the beta when it comes to PS4 or Xbox One

1 ReplyI'd really like to, but dat subscription fee just isn't worth it.
-
Definitely, though probably not on day one.
-
Someone already pre-ordered the imperial edition for me as a gift, hopefully playing with friends makes the game better.

15 RepliesI really resent the "I want to wait until it's F2P" attitude. We're talking about a genre of games that requires a company to keep a large number of servers running at all times. Throw them some money to show you appreciate it. That way we'll end up with a lot less crappy MMOs coming out. As for TESO, I really wanted to get the Imperial Edition, but when it was out I didn't have the money because lady luck is a -blam!- -blam!-. Like a lot of gamers I was skeptical because The Elder Scrolls has never been properly tested in a multiplayer environment (Battlespire doesn't count) but I think it's worth giving it a shot, because frankly it's about time people showed real appreciation for the franchise outside of -blam!-ing about the changes they make between games.

2 RepliesEdited by HurtfulTurkey: 3/26/2014 3:18:29 PMI'd like an MMO that puts you at endgame content right away. I hate doing a month of grinding and quests just to get to endgame content that tons of people have beaten me to. Just give everyone the awesome armor, quests, instances, and battlegrounds and roll with it; that's how battlegrounds work anyway, everyone gets put at the same stats. I got TOR because I legitimately thought it was fun and I loved the lore, but the TESO beta was the dullest gameplay I've seen in a long time.

The gameplay looks even worse than Skyrim's honestly. It just looks like a boring grind fest which is what most MMOs are. I'll just skip this title and wait for the next single-player game.
-
Passing on it. I'd rather spend my money on other titles like Evolve and Witcher 3 than a monthly subscription.
-
I played the Beta and I wasn't impressed.

1 ReplyEven if the entire game was free I wouldn't play it. That abomination should not have been created.
