If there really were aliens visiting earth...
And the government knew about it, do you think they would tell the public about it?
I'm not saying that there are or have been aliens in the past, but if there were, do you think they would tell us?

I think they would tell us eventually. But only when it beneficial to them. So maybe years afterwards.
