If GTAV makes it to NextGen? GTAOnline. If not, BF4.

Edited by BADMAGIK: 9/18/2013 5:35:42 PMI'm really excited about BF4, but putting that aside, I choose BF4 for this sole reason. GTA V will dead in a couple of months and that's being realistic. New consoles will literally take more than half of the player base away from the current gen and games. A few more months and there will be practically nothing. Now if GTA V were to come out on the new consoles as well, that would be a different story, but I wouldn't bet on it.

GTA Online Ill probably play Battlefield more due to more friends getting it though

I love GTA, but 16 players on a bigger map isn't as exciting as 64 on a smaller map. However, joining crews and planning/pulling heists sounds great!

Still have to play them.

1 ReplyI'm not sure he is asking which is better, but what we are going to play. From my ~12 hours of GTA V today, I'll probably end up playing GTA Online. The FPS can wait.

Both of those games are gonna kick ass this year
-
Well it depends if I just wanna hang with my crew on GTA or if I wanna have some bad ass, intense, adrenaline rush while running through the battlefield just dodging an RPG and 50 cals before taking cover and pulling the warm trigger for my c4 and then watching the skyscraper collapse on the enemy and cutting off the road for future tanks............

You simply cannot compare the two. For me, GTA is about playing free mode online with friends killing each other, killing endless waves of cops, racing, exploring, and just doing the crazy stuff you can't do in any other game. Battlefield is a-lot more serious. Having a squad of friends, working together, using teamwork to accomplish goals/objectives. Reaching a certain level to unlock a gun or working for a certain attachment(s) for that gun. Charging across a field with tanks, destroying buildings with helicopters, etc. The list goes on. Both are awesome, but for completely different reasons.
-
5 RepliesHow are you even comparing the two. That's like comparing ME3 Multiplayer to Halo 4 BTB.

4 RepliesEdited by Spvrinna: 9/18/2013 2:36:11 AMThis is like comparing shit to shit.
But seriously, GTA V will undoubtedly be awesome with friends. BF4 though, not so much. I'm sure it will be great on next-generation for fans of the series, but it just isn't my cup of tea.
1 ReplyEdited by Kafuu Chino: 9/18/2013 2:31:26 AMCan they even be compared to each other? They're two completely different styles of gameplay...
