11 RepliesWe've known for quite some time Marathon would PVP only. My problem is that Bungie has consistently shown it can't do PVP. What on earth makes them think Marathon will be somehow better at PVP? Is it magic? Did they only move the devs to marathon that had a clue about PVP? Is it me?

2 RepliesI think it looks awesome. I think it will be very challenging, and that's fine with me. I do wonder about the 'point' of it all, but that remains to be seen. I played a LOT of Survival in The Division. This looks kinda like that. I used to solo it. Survival wasn't dynamic, but I'm getting similar vibes with Marathon. Looking forward to trying it out.

2 RepliesI mean, everyone enjoying Marathon I wish fun and luck. Alone the idea of losing everything every game can't be my thing. I am too old for that kind of shenanigans. I know my son loves that kind of stuff enjoying full risk and success, if succeeding. But that's not my thing, I am far too lazy. I have my god rolls and gear and can't be bothered to lose everything for short glory. Good luck!

[spoiler]its slowish compared to D2 PVP... blocky minecraft weapons.. with boring zzz inventory screen... seems stuck to 3 stack (or solo vs all)... they just don't know what they have in D2 PVP[/spoiler] -

7 RepliesI've been attempting to tell some people on these forums that bungie doesn't need to make everything just for them. There was a post a few days ago where the OP of it said that they didn't like the game because none of the characters are relatable to them and a bunch of things like that. They didn't like being told that the game clearly wasn't made for them and how video games don't need to have everything relatable to someone or something all the time.

They have neglected the QC/QA so badly that nobody I have ran with for the past 10+ years (almost 11 now) is still around. It's just me left from so many clans even before we had clans I had a clan. And even I don't really feel like playing anymore as they have sucked the fun and enjoyment out of it and replaced it all with bugs. [u]Anyone hear the one about Xivu and Oryx[/u]? Of course not they have yet to add the audio.
