10yrs of failed launches, impressive.
Not many game studios can state they've bungled every single major update, and half the minor ones, over the course of the entire series. Well done.
We should get them some sort of cake or award. They deserve it.

I think it went pretty well in terms of how fast they were able to fix whatever was wrong with it. Probably 5 or so hours after the download I was able to keep the game on for the most part. The important thing that we've all learned, however, is that no matter what the problem is, if it involves the internet or computers then it can be fixed by adding more servers. And some servers require additional servers to work correctly. This week I learned a lot about the computer from people in the community. Each on teach one, one two c.

7hrs still can’t play it

1 ReplyI was trying to be patient but this is bad. This should have been a great day but the server squad fumbled the ball and wet the bed. What I was able to play was very very good. Ruined by unplayable loop.

This is getting ridiculous. Absolutely all launches failed. Looks like the game architecture is tied together with a very thin wire. They haven't been able to create or release a properly threaded rendering engine even after so many years so a powerful multicore CPU can get better FPS performance. And their services keep failing as always have under load. Looks like they put their effort only on selling cosmetics.

1 ReplyI don’t remember a dlc launching this badly server wise. Took me over 2 hours to get in and I’m still getting kicked left and right. And it’s crazy that bungie hasn’t even mentioned anything about the issues. It’s like they don’t care at all I’ll try again tomorrow

They're actually getting better at making the launch worse. This is the worst launch in all of destiny. Can't wait to see how bad things get for the raid

2 RepliesI have been playing destiny since it's inception and I have been never more disappointed with the bullshit we have to deal with. Others say then don't play the game. However when you spend almost 5 grand on the game it's hard to just walk away. I will never play another bungie game. 25 hours of complete shut down and they still don't have their -blam!- together. I think sony should take immediate action. I think bungie has disappointed us for the last time.

Who ever is in charge of Bungie needs to be FIRED! A. Do a great job on Into the Light. B. Build up the hype with Patheon. C. Invite “Elitists” in to play The Final Shape EARLY & make Videos about how things are & have heads up on game missions. D. To conclude with a “select few” who actually get to play which just infuriates the one’s who can’t! 😢 Never asked for a Refund before from Xbox until now. At least College football is back out & NOT MADE BY BUNGIE!!

3 RepliesEvery launch of a new expansion has the same issue… Bungie takes everyone’s money and never answers to anyone for their ineptitude. I am an idiot for giving this game another shot. Love to get a refund. Who knows when this game will even be playable. 6 tries, 6 boots to orbit without completion of first mission… after a two hour wait for a successful login. Ridiculous.

2 RepliesI say Bungie should boot the streamers from their server and put them in our server group to see their pain in having to wait to get in or weaseled out of the game. They had 24 hours for set up and you can’t tell me they didn’t expect this kind of traffic. They’ve only been hyping it up for a year. Come on now.
