Yeah. That shouldn't happen repeatedly. The game should do both more predictable and less predictable spawns. Spawn killing is a part of PvPs, it just shouldn't be a ton of the kills a team ends up with. And when the game starts randomly spawning people next to teammates that are in battle the skill level differences of the people in that spawn area come into play and so there's a risk that the game is just going to be trying to correct itself based on skill differences too much.
I just played a whole one match where my team was obviously the better overall. But, first of all, the time to bank is a huge change that definitely helps the flow. Other than that from the whopping one match its a mode where people have to play defensively. And the cool thing about it is that its up to the player to do that and not as much about the game trying to encourage it with spawns and other stuff. That's what I like about when objective modes work right. Some of the outside stuff can get filtered through objective play. People just have to play their lives (voluntarily) and it can take a bit for that approach to catch on in this game. I don't even do it all the time because its destiny. Sometimes I want to run at thum!
But for the gameplay to feel that good and it be an objective mode is a win imho, especially compared to what it was the first time and this is only the second run of a fairly complex mode compared to what people are used to.
