Shame to see what could have been a great game go down in flames.

When new DLC is released, meaning the same boring recycled development the player count will go up. It's the norm, but it won't go up by much seeing how players are burnt out on the lazy development. I wonder what lies this business will come up with as they did with LF, etc... to try to get players to buy whatever DLC.

39 Replies😂😂😂 People acting like this game hasn't been massively successful since 2014 never gets old lol
-
3 RepliesIts literally the end of the season makes sense why player count is low, we also just had some major destiny drama so yeah it makes sense why last 7 days of season has low player count

That's like expected, isn't it? This game is the same since shadowkeep and why bother changing it if it worked for them financially (until Lightfall) and that's why they are changing something with episodes. At least they changed the name))) maybe they actually made changes to new "seasons", we will see. I'm not defending Bungie, but it was kinda expected that it would eventually happen

Well when you listen to creators your game dies, Activision been figured that out. They'll use the advertising, give away codes and exclusive merchandise but they'll never change systems for streamers. Bungie will not only change things for streamers, they'll nerf the entire game because a Chad with 200 viewers says it's op. Btw pvp is cbmm and look how disgusting it plays

Well I'd like everyone to know that Paul Tassi is nonstop blessing us with his gifts of real journalism. And now the player population does appear to be pretty low to me. If the numbers are really depressing Paul Tassi glides into the room, flings his coat off and says, "no this is what I DO. You don't say it like that you say it like this and they will think about how its depressing for the rest of the dayyyyyyyy." If you can't tell I just love during things when people get chances to do their things they really do for a living and stuff like that.

11 RepliesBeen playing Warframe for the last two months - and spending my money there. No plans to buy TFS. Might slog the season pass if the cosmetics are any good since I already paid for the crap.
-
3 RepliesIt’s funny how kids like you say the exact same thing every other month for attention yet continue to play the game.

1 ReplyI’m waiting for the next season, till that happens, I’m whipping out my GameCube and playing oldies.

Edited by jmann43b: 11/21/2023 11:13:26 PMWhat difference does it make? Unless you're a shareholder or a corporate exec at Bungie, just play the game.

Jet Set WillyIt’s all going concording to plan 😂🤣 - old
Just wait until the new season next week. The numbers will be through the roof. New records will be set day after day as word of the awesomeness of the entirely new seasonal content and in game loot spreads through the community. People that stopped playing weeks, months and years ago will be throwing their money at the screen so they’re able to participate. -
Everyone just got burnt out , we have been been playing this game since 2014, and fun new games are out there There is a reason why Bungie didn't want to stay at MS and make Halo Sequels forever , the same reason 343 has so much trouble , the book has already been written and there aren't any more stories left to tell

It’s not going down in flames, the ship is old and taking on water, the game has lasted just about ten years, which is not bad at all. Player count is usually low at the end of seasons especially the second to last season before a dlc. Player count is exceedingly low rn because of the mess LF was and the lay offs that happened. Not surprising in the least.

Edited by A_mo: 11/21/2023 6:57:44 PMEveryone can play the type of player where you go in the lobby and they make everybody score what they say to score btw. Lobby is exploding and there's literally nothing wrong with me typing that while its happening. To meee tooooo.

Why would it not be low?
