Nerfing drop rates.
Activities locked to a power cap; once hit the required power cap, the power cap is reduced 5 to 25, even on basic activities.
Buy strand or don't play, locked seasonal threat
Arc 3.0 made completely useless
Titan and Warlock Arc builds made pointless
Damage increases, convoluted damage mechanics...with zero loot increases
Jump on and just chill and play...destroyed. I'm gonna need certain builds/guns for every activity.
Zero middle ground... even D1 nightfalls don't even come near to this level
This isn't balance. This will empty the player base quicker than you can blink
You're making a big mistake here, bungie
I'm not your average casual gamer, but you are massively stamping and exclusion on the majority of your community....the average casual gamer thats just wants to pop on and have some fun.

You didn't play d1 nightfalls then because some of them were insanely difficult
-
2 RepliesWow everything you said was completely and factually wrong. Impressive.
-
I don't mind difficulty increase. I do mind very much attempts at limiting what I use. We have enough of that. I don't want Bungie dictating what I use and how I play. Regardless, haven't touch the game in months and my preorder cancelled. Still stand by cancelation.
-
2 RepliesIt’s going to have almost no impact on gameplay and people are going to be used to it within a month. Just like every one of these sorts of changes.
-
1 ReplyEdited by Kouz_MC: 2/22/2023 6:12:05 AMThe only epic fail is on those who pre ordered and dare to complain now.
-
As long as these changes don't result in unending frustration I think things will be okay. But unfortunately, I think in the beginning everything is going to be way, way overtuned.
-
3 RepliesLightfail?

2 RepliesThey said they are not going to "over perfrom". Instead of making more fun and engaging events and more loot, they just made the current ones and the current loot more difficult to acquire. Once again they used the minimal effort approach. Instead of making more challenging activities with better rewards (NEW ONES) they just buffed the old ones and made loot harder to get, and increased the "value" of it by doing that. The definition of low effort right here.
-
Very epic.

2 RepliesDefinitely considering canceling pre order. I want to chill and play not have to sweat everything. Bungie before you loose 99 percent of your player base for the love of all that is holy STOP listening to streamers.
-
1 ReplyEdited by Morakx: 2/22/2023 2:00:15 PMWe wanted less restrictions and no champs anymore. They added 20 layers of more restrictive gameplay and the small list of what stays the same included champions. LOL this clown dev team is rather funny i must say. But hey, atleast they clearly understood our feedback with unrewarding lost sectors LMFAO

1 ReplyI haven't pre-ordered. This could be the end for me.

I agree usual whiney post

1 ReplyHere we go.. 1 shot by Scorn snipers from across the map on patrol 😒 Again 🤭 I bet there's some Xol damn bug that makes for God tier Dregs or Harpies or some other nonsense they don't address for 3 months 🤣

7 RepliesEdited by TheOtherGuy: 2/22/2023 11:00:33 AMCanceled preorder. A few "new" Missions (bet half of them are recycled and/or play at old locations), boring exotic armor, nerf to abilities, stats, mods, make the game harder but dont give better rewards, bad new titan class, too less changes for pvp, heists as nightfalls (who tf wants this?), pay for story skip (lol?), and much more stupid decisions. This will be the worst state of Destiny ever. And dont tell me that i have to play it before i judge. A pile of shite is a pile of shite, i dont have to taste it.
-
Only way it changes is when you quit paying.
-
Shhhhhh you'll anger the GateKeepers

2 RepliesI‘m playing this game mainly because the gameplay is fun to me and not really for the rewards, so I don’t mind the same things being harder to get. I like the challenge, so I‘m actually happy to see that this game gets harder even if the rewards don’t increase. It‘s a game overall and not a job. I play to play and not to get things. But as I see the majority of this forum feels different about it.
-
58 RepliesI see all the changes as a win overall...
-
agreed 100% especially the loss to the player base solo's and casuals will be going and new players wont be hanging around long if content is more challenging than fun.
-
Could not agree more, note sure where the fun element is going to be. No real interest in getting battered by over powered yellow bars with no effective counter. I log on to have fun not a sweat fest. I just hope Bungie have f******* up the messaging and the reality will be better, been an optimist I live in hope!
-
That's all it is for me, casual. Create a separate mode for casuals and give the sweaty tryhard take the game far too seriously players a mode that suits them or is that asking too much?. Does anyone know the ratio between casual and diehard players?. Although it pains me to say but I'm losing interest in the game, I used love to playing it, they removed some great content and replaced it with garbage imo. Wether I'll buy lightfall, I don't know yet, I usually wait a few weeks for reviews and then decide.

thank all the streamers for ruining destiny 2 because all they want is more videos to make money
-
This isn't balance. This will empty the player base quicker than you can blink
Hopefully it does just that, maybe they will wake up before that happens, maybe

3 RepliesSorry, but history says that Destiny players talk a big game, but when push comes to shove, they open their wallet and reverse course. Bungie knows this. Bungie has zero fear of a player revolt. Because as much as players may hate Bungie's choices, they hate the idea of weaning off the game even more.
