I just want to understand something. I jumped into a pvp match...first one of the day I might add and it was like 5 to 6 mins left. The team I was on was getting blasted, supers blasting everywhere. I left because it wasn't fair that I would be in a match with 5 mins left and no super and yet I get banned for 30 mins or whatever.
How is this right? why am I getting banned for 30 mins because of that?

Snowball effect, You likely replaced a bailer, while not your fault and I get how frustrating it is (trust me Ive had it happen alot too) you continued the problem by bailing, this is exactly why the suspensions were introduced in the first place. Now we all know there are many reasons why people bail, while some are legit many are not so we all get the same treatment. They acknowledged map rotation was an issue so reweighted that. So its more a case now of dont like a map suck it up or suffer a suspension. Players shouldnt be quitting just because they are on a losing side and punishment is well deserved for those players. Personally I dont think the penalties are hard enough, for REPEAT offenders I feel a full 24 hour ban is more suitable per instance after the initial 30 min. I feel it sould be First occurance - warning 2nd within 24 hours - 30 min ban 3rd within 24 hours - 2 hour ban 4th within 24 hours - 24 hour ban If 2 24 hour bans are recieved within a week the player should be barred from any pvp until the following reset. Harsh yes, but might just stop bailers, a 30 min ban wont leading to those like us joining matches in progress.

1 ReplySuspensions are issued for leaving too many matches for ANY reason be it Internet issues, acts of nature, little brothers or just trying to get out of losing match. This includes error code as people force internet issues to get out of losing matches without the penalties.

2 RepliesCouldnt spend 5 minutes in a game? Had to protect your lil KD huh? 😂

1 ReplyPVP Rule, Don't leave Early, you left Early, and Got locked out. Break the Rules, Reap the Consequence.

4 RepliesIt's pretty simple...You left the match early

1 ReplyYou only get banned if your leave/stay ratio drops below a certain threshold. Seems you failed to tell us about all the other times you've left matches.

2 RepliesCouldn't stay in a match for 5 minutes huh.

Edited by Sweet Lew 88: 9/28/2022 8:07:19 PMIf you're playing solo, you almost have to expect to fill in games with missing people once in a while. I don't mind it, sometimes we are already winning or I can help turn the game around and win. It doesn't hurt you to stay and play, there is no penalty to your win streaks and you might get a reward when you finish. If there was no penalty, then more people would leave games and create more games missing people, something you appear to hate. Play in a team? Then you're less likely to join a game missing players. You got this penalty from one game left? Do you need to leave multiple games in close succession?
