Didnt want to quit any matches because each player was trying to fight their own fights versus cowering behind a teammate for teamshooting. There was teamshooting in some matches but my teammates were confident enough to offer assistance when necessary without following each other constantly. Even being shotgun’d or fusion’d to death didnt feel oppressive because it didnt happen often.

6 Repliesmy lobbys are a fair bit sweatier then they were last season, however, i have climbed from a 1.5 to a 2.2, ive realised its because team balanceing is much better now, i always have similar kd players backing me up so im in turn dieing less. Not getting swarmed off spawn or anything cos the teams matched well and everyone does a good job of fighting back, sbmm has sorta fixed the team balancing issue weve had for some time. sure ill get roasted for saying anything good about it though

It’s great and I’m actually learning and improving. The players crying over control are upset they can’t farm and pad their stats. Didn’t they just make this change to control?

Personally for my category pvp will be a sweat fest. I probably won't play it as much as it's just so draining every match. Everyone just using the meta. I'm glad your people get to have fun, but someone has to face the sweats and that person would be ones like me...

19 RepliesOh ya - Super great games now. My last one had Chinese, Korean, Japaneses, Russian, Spanish (Likely South America) and American gamer tags, and I'm in Western Canada. So much fun playing with the UN Lag brigade. Hit people with Void grenades and nova bombs, no damage. Until Bungle has properly tuned regional Dedicated Servers, PvP will be the unbalanced broken laggy fecal Mess it has been since D1 beta.

36 RepliesAh yes, all the SBMM supporters calling people bad when you needed SBMM to shield you from facing better competition. Now that SBMM is here, we see the forced W/L criteria in play, the laggy connections, the rigged matchups to enforce said W/L criteria, and the further destruction of pvp. I hope all of your shattered egos are happy about this. Im sure your smiles will quickly fade when you get stomped next match because you went above 50% W/L.

1 ReplyFor someone that started from scratch a year ago. Experienced frustration, humiliation, etc. Who had to "git gud" in toxic environement, and who did manage to get a bit better in the end ... This sbmm is pure bliss .... Thanks so much !

Played once this morning, totally new Titan build, and I rarely play Titan anymore. Was okay. Didn’t get wrecked.

Matches I've tried felt a lot better too, as a result I performed better against similar skilled people. I'll try control more now, usually played elim since it's sbmm, but no I'm not trying to get better, I'm just trying not to get ran over. Game pace seemed fluid but neither slow or aggressive; didn't have any queue issues but maybe encountered a laggy player.
