REMOVE FORCED CROSSPLAY
Please its a nightmare to play trials on consoles the cross play connection are so freaking terrible 99% of the time before crossplay was a thing game was okish now its so terrible dont force anything on ppl who dont want it !!

15 RepliesCross-play isn't enable for PVP unless you specifically have a PC player in your fire-team. They have already stated this in a TWAB before cross-play arrived.

PC and Consoles should only be able to run public events like Raids and Strikes. No competition mechanics.

1 ReplyAgreed it is terrible. I actually matched someone playing on stadia (ikr) last season. Given it’s cloud based and destiny’s archaic p2p matchmaking system. This guy was nigh un kill able. Luckily he couldn’t damage my team either. Both sides (playstation and xbox) have been saying this since crossplays inception. The silence on this issue is insulting at this point. Keep crossplay for pve. Got rid of it for pvp. The connections in this game already felt like we were playing on 2 soup cans and a string. I didn’t think they could make it worse. I was wrong.

19 RepliesThey can't. Destiny is hitting record lows, lows that are records since 2014. Taken King sold tens of millions of copies. Witch Queen they bragged about ONE million copies. NEVER in 2 years has Destiny tracker reached more than 1.5 million. Most days are like -blam!-. Imagine -blam!- players, and a -blam!- of them being free to play. There isn't enough of a population, hense Bungie resorting for cross play matchmaking instead of just cross play in general. When you have -blam!-. How many are in raids, nightfalls, tower, DOE, etc? How many of them are legit searching for the game mode of pvp at the same time as you in a 24 hour day? I am not agreeing with this. I think Bungie dug this grave repeatedly. I also, want to touch on something you didn't. Cross play, if you opted out of it. It cannot match you with others on the SAME console if they have crossplay turned on. Meaning you and I will never match even if you were on Xbox too cause I have crossplay on. Have you tried turning that -blam!- off? 20 minutes just to find enough others with it off on the same console for a gambit match. This stupid critiera punishes you for no reason if you don't have cross play on

Enemies seem to see me earlier than I see them all the time. There was like one game this IB where my shots connected as they should. Then I feel like in D1 where I somehow was better.
