Can’t pick up orb of light when supercharged
I only recently noticed I can’t pick up an orb of light while supercharged to activate taking charge mods, primarily devour for super damage.
This seems to have happened since the recent update (4.0.0.3) and I cannot find posts of this issue however there is much to filter through.
Apologies if I missed a note in patches or a post on forum

I hate it, and have never seen Bungie acknowledge it at all, despite many people raising the issue on reddit, here, etc. I guess we have to wait until a big streamer falls victim, and then maybe Bungie will care. People don't realize how significant this issue is for those suffering from it at all, either. If you have this bug, you pretty much lose out on the most of the mods in the game, you lose huge buildcraft potential or have to find creative ways to activate CWL outside of orb pickup (thank god for elemental wells), but most importantly, for me at least, I cannot heal from orbs if I have my super. It has become a part of the games mechanics for me, to just burn my super any time it's up, unelss I got boss DPS coming soon when I'm doing solo dungeons and stuff, because otherwise I cannot heal, and now I straight up cannot activate Devour on hunter or titan.

1 ReplyAnything that overcharges your super from extra orbs will circumvent that and picking up orbs to interact with your mods (heal jumpstart, grenade jumpstart, etc) should function as intended. Or going for finisher mods that suck your super is also a secondary way about it. Not exactly ideal, but it's there if you need it.

Can't pick up orbs PERIOD! And that bugs the h3ll out of me, not when i'm really injured, not when trying charge light mods or any other thing. Talk about broken! Changing subclass does not make any difference either. This started with Witch Queen, had no issues before!

7 RepliesEdited by FluffyBunnyFeet: 3/22/2022 7:42:20 PMWhen you have a full super, only 2 ways will allow you to pick up more orbs. 1) CWL (Charged with light) build. You need a taking charge, and a mod to use said charge on to even pick one up. Not having one or the other means no pickups. 2) Explosive light weapon.
