Let's talk clans
This is just for discussion so try to keep it clean.
Clans have been in the destiny franchise since the beginning of D1, since then they've become kind of stagnant and stale. The few extra engrams just aren't
that appealing anymore seeing as there are plenty of activities that give out a ton of them, they're a great place to hang out and meet new people but they could be so much more; especially in the current Era of the franchise.
Something I wish Bungie would do is make clan based exotic weapons and armor (cause I can't be the only one who wants some) as well as legendary weapons and armor, make it worth playing in a clan and earning something that will benefit the whole clan. Like maybe a new AR that gets decreased recoil and increased damage the more clan mates that are on your fireteam. And who better to head up the whole operation than Ikora, take the most useless npc and give her a meaningful job, give her rewards that can only be earned by playing with your clan and completing activities together and make it the point system like the other vendors in the tower.
This is something that has been on my mind for quiet some time, There hasn't been anything new with clans since D1, and I understand that making new content for the game isn't easy but would it be so hard to give a little love to something that's supposed to be one of the major parts of the game.

Also ikora is not the most useless npc especially now, as she now sells class abilities. Clans already have a vendor who I literally haven't talked to in years cause I am not in a clan. HAWTHORNE is useless.

Also clan wars. Don't know why that hasn't been a thing and I've seen it suggested since d1.

I'd strongly suggest moving this to #Feedback or one of the other Destiny subforums. Talking about the game is a taboo in this subforum (many people here will go out of their way to tear you apart for it), and the post isn't likely to get the eyes on it that you're looking for. The D2 development team isn't likely to look for Destiny feedback here.

3 RepliesOur clan gets a silver reward cache every week at a minimum, sometimes it's a gold. And the Dark Zone is easier for new players to grasp when they've got a veteran player or two showing them the ropes. If you're on XB, hit me up next time you're on and we'll give you a trial period to see if it's a good fit. But know this, the clan tag is WAR - "We're Always Rogue." Come prepared.

Gangrel are clearly superior. The endgame of shapeshifting is such a power trip you'd only have a hard time against Tremere opponents. But even then a well made homebrew could have even more nuanced powers other than war form, like controlling and creating veins they can use like whips etc etc.
