My game runs like garbage now
Funny enough these problems didn't happen at all on the first day of the new dlc. But since then I'm getting huge stuttering issues and dropping frames more then I ever have in this game, and crashes which I luckily never had this issue until now. It makes the game a bit annoying but for pvp and gambit where your fighting other players its downright unplayable. Its not my pc it still runs fine for everything else and all my friends are having the same problems.
It sucks Ive never had performance problems on this game so I'm hoping this problem gets fixed.

Definitely noticing a performance hit on ps5 too

I used to play on PC a while ago, then after an update it became unstable, screen tearing, frame drops. I waited for fixes but they never came, I gave up waiting and moved to console.

Also all inventar is flashing, weapons, armor, ships, etc.etc. And the loading time if you go into a weapon of the weapon is 2-3 seconds and also if you go on a mod. Before it was there in a millisecond. Its like on the old PS4 with a normal HDD. Please @bungie fix that. It makes no fun to check if there is really a new weapon or armor, OR the waiting time to see a shader, mod or change the settings of a weapons in stats. But nevertheless great new season and a huge throne world!!!!

I keep getting charged and weapons not rendering for both my teammates and myself. PS5 hard wired fiber optic. Cleared the cache, cycle modem and everything. No avail.

But yeah, I was getting contacting Destiny 2 servers over and over, got kicked, then got back on, got kicked again with the babboon error code, I know it's not on my end. So I just turned off the bug-, I mean, game.

1 ReplyPs5 PvP is horrible now. After witch queen update I am unable to aim correctly. Something is terribly wrong. If I aim at a player my aim is all over the place. Like dragging a sheet through water. I don’t know if I losing frames or what. It does it in PVE as well. Before the update I was able to move and aim fluid like. Now it’s like everyone has a cheat code on that prevents me from being able to aim at them. I know that’s not the case but something isn’t right. It’s so bad I don’t want to play anymore until it’s fixed.

Beyond light messed a ton of stuff up. It killed the interface and slowed it down massively. I can wait an entire orbit loading screen tryng to change weapons only to have the screen disappear when we land. I once got kicked for inactivity while waiting for the screen to load.

Mine takes forever after opening a game to change mods. Waits until the picture loads before displaying anything or letting me change anything. Really annoying when your trying to change in mid combat or really anywhere. That time stacks fast.

I've experienced the same problems since the 30th anniversary update. Slow menus, game crashes, stuttering when moving the cursor on the screen. We definitely need a fix. I'm on PS4 but I'm seeing similar posts from people on nex-gen consoles as well.

I told them the same thing everybody’s invisible Rockets arnt blowing up grenades aren’t blowing up. The menu screens are all jittery once they finally load up. Bounties aren’t being completed. they told me it was my stuff again typical bungee

2 RepliesXbox series x here on LG OLED with VRR zero gameplay issues fast and smooth. On PC however it felt sluggish till I switch to windowed borderless mode and it’s smooth as it was before again on a Freesync display.

I’ve had the same issues, in the dungeon and the last Bossfight I was lagging very hard, and I was by myself there’s definitely something going on and I’m not the only one that’s had this issue that I know of

Is it immediately after you start the game or is it after a while? I believe I read on reddit that some people have had issues with a memory leak in destiny.

It’s a memory issue. Try cranking your ram to its max MHz if your on pc. Dmg has taken notice and said bungie is looking into it though
