Reshaping the Enigma mission not working
I'm currently stuck on step 6 of the Reshaping the Enigma mission because I can't progress through the mission for some reason and I keep getting the a notification that says "Select reshape to upgrade Enigma. The Enigma must be unequipped and unlocked in order to be reshaped." I followed the instructions from this notification several times already and I've closed and deleted the game several times already to see if it would help. Is anyone else having this problem and have you found a way to fix it?

Edited by Sek: 4/23/2023 9:43:03 AMSame here NormalKidd82, doesn't matter what you do - craft a new weapon, reshape new or old, return to orbit, change intrinsic traits you still can't progress the quest. It seems to have all started when I mistakenly failed to select an enhancement in the correct order when first crafting the Vexcalibur. My last hope is that unlocking another enhancement/secret via Avalon might solve the issue - but it's a long shot. Be interested to hear of any solutions to this very annoying issue, as many others have mentioned, you can't abandon the quest, and it locks you out of others downstream. Bungie, have you any comment?

Looks like this bug has been around for an incredibly long time. Still seeing it on my account and none of the workarounds anywhere I've seen are working for me. Just dropped triple digits on DLC and the like for this game... can we please see a fix to this quest linked to a core mechanic of the game??

I also am having this issue, but it's at the showing step. I can't even get to reshaping. It won't let me select the weapon to shape it, a button does nothing. The stupid hint pop up at the bottom won't change or go away.

After you reshape your glaive try to go to the tower and if Rahool has something for you this should be it ! Hope this helps !

Same here, I've changed it twice now and nothing, I'm not sure why Bungie is taking so long to fix a major quest that is part of the $80 DLC but priorities right? Nothing that I've seen has fixed the issue, unless you have to reset it to "a previous state" which no one has suggested then I'm out of ideas since nothing works. Good job guys, way to QC.

1 ReplySame issue here. I reshaped the weapon, changed the frame and everything. Nothing counts. I can't advance, and I've got that tutorial spam crap on my screen and it won't go away.

Thank god I’m not the only one , this step is bugged and it’s really annoying not being able to progress , I’ve reshaped it three times and wasted all that material

2 RepliesAlso having the same issue, have equipped and Unequipped , locked and unlocked, and upgraded the enhanced intrinsic twice - nothing seems to work to let it progress further.

I have this problem too and it's really annoying, that and not being able to play this game or see Xur after 8pm before the witch queen release, don't waste time it's annoying. Please fix this.

Same issue here. When I first when through the quest, I followed the steps in order correctly up to the "enhanced trait" step, and at that point did them out of order. When I realized I had done so, I went back and did them in order again (losing plenty of materials in the process), and it would not count that the steps were complete. So I had to try to save up another 2000 neutral element materials (where does the game show you where these are stored, anyway?) but it doesn't matter—it stays stuck on the "Select 'Reshape' to upgrade the Enigma." step, no matter what I do.

This quest is bugged and not a single solution I've looked up has solved it. I've reshaped it twice and nothing has changed and now the quest text is bloating up my screen ....

1 ReplyYou have to change the haft on the left side, not the perks. It starts off as hybrid. I made the mistake and lost two ascendant alloys.
