Titan mains how are you all feeling about the Void 3.0 changes?
Just saw the post Bungie put on the site about a closer look at void 3.0. Do you like it or is it underwhelming?

Not to mention that bastion aspect WILL be nerfed, giving INSTANT over shield to an entire team will be OP for crucible. Only thing I’m not happy about is that they seemingly removed the ability and health regen from code of the commander. If that’s a fragment now, then never mind. Also just saw that defensive strike has just been flat out removed. That was literally the best sentinel melee for PvP, hopefully shield throw isn’t trash.

This definitely wasn't for us. I feel like Sol or Arc 3.0 might be where Titans shine. Hopefully we also get exotics that boost or kit as opposed to patch it when those subclasses release.

2 RepliesAs a guy who mains bubble and alpha lupi I was so excited... until I realized almost every aspect of top tree sentinel is going away. I won't even be able to heal people now. Just apply an overshield over their one shot health bar. So they can get 15% damage reduction on their 45 health overshield to go on top of their 15/200 health bar. Right now every melee heals your teammates. Not in 2 weeks. Our punches will only be uncharged punched now. You can only throw or shoulder charge. So bizarre...

I always use the Titan Barricade, I even have a build that makes my strength get to 100 so I get my Barricade every time the one before it runs out. Having an over shield after casting a Barricade for me and my team is a huge W, also with a throwable shield makes my Titan more versatile. Insta Bubble is beautiful, this Void changes makes it to where I’m even more of a Tank for me and my team. Specially with that new Glaive exotic? ( Not sure if that’s how you spell it ) that makes a mini bubble? This change overall makes a Titan what a Titan should be, a powerful tank.

2 RepliesWe're going to be worthless trash still. The Sentinel class is already flatlined, dead. The bubble got nerfed in damage to match Well. Just because it recharges quicker doesn't mean it'll ever be useful still. Well is always preferred over Bubble. The shield toss looks cool, but it's pretty much nothing a good thermite grenade couldn't do. I'm sure there'll be some loony-toon melee build with bubble, but I'm not holding my breath on it being used a lot after the first few weeks.

2 RepliesBastion gives Titans a better healing rift than the Warlock’s healing rift. For the very reason that it stops damage and allows the healing and overshield to take effect. Very nice. I love the idea of Titans being this wall that protects the team. I wonder if this will work with Cytan Ramparts. Being able to have health regen, an overshield, and shoot through the shield at enemies. lol and people though Staglock felt too OP to face off against.

Pretty excited to use detonators (volatile) on pretty much anything void. Aside from missle with falling star, code of the commander is one of my favorite supers. All the explosions and regen with that is just so much fun. Pretty excited also for being able to use any grenade on any class. Vortex with volatile anyone?

It looks ok. I’m not sure if it motivates me to get off stasis though. Hopefully it’s balanced ether way. I hate when titans have over powered stuff. They usually nerf it to the point of being unusable and never revert back to being usable. Just please be balanced

1 ReplyAs long as it’s not as broken as pre 5 nerf stasis, I’m excited. Pvp is in a abysmal state as is. It can’t take another super broken subclass designed that way to sell a sub par dlc. Hopefully wq can stand on its own so they didn’t make void 3.0 broken af.

i already ran bottom tree void on titan, this just made my setup powerful as hell, shield bash is now crazy good with the overshield buff it provides on hits, which is gonna proc that grenade and melee regen, the shield throw is gonna be badass with that fragment that makes enemies explode on death, the overshield barricade and bubble let me actually be a tank for once in my life, so im really glad they went both directions in making sentinels capable of both aggressive and defensive abilities the hunter changes sound fun too, really delves into the stealthy nature that they originally presented in taken king, the only thing i feel bad about is the devourlocks losing the ability to eat their grenade, which was really viable in endgame pve and pvp, letting you heal up to full instantly.

I'm a Sunbreaker main. Have been ever since I got my hammer on Mercury in D1. But looking at what Bungie has planned for the Void subclass in WQ looks good. In fact, a lot of the Titan stuff coming in WQ looks good and I'm looking forward to trying it all out. Time will tell how good it all actually is and I wouldn't be surprised if Bungie tweaks stuff here and there over time as needed. As always, though, worried how this stuff plays out in PvP. PvP is a total mess right now. But in PvE, it looks like it's all going to a load of fun!

2 RepliesStill wish the Titan bubble pushed on casting. I want an instant 360 push when you first enable it that doesn't do dmg, but shunts everyone away from you...and if they hit a wall …then maybe they die. Like the force of the Tractor Cannon. Is that too much to ask for?

Titans seem like they got the good straw, warlocks behind, and hunters... we didn't really need much change, and they didn't change much at all. I wish they almost completely reworked each super, for everyone, just to add some interesting features, but that would also fully change the meta, which wouldn't do very good because it would be incredibly broken. Panzer out.
