Ascendancy Ornaments
Seriously? Get to Prestige 1 Rank 16 to get the ornaments?
Bungie, N E V E R put any of the Ritual weapon stuff behind faction ranks again.
That’s actually way more grindy than doing the quests for the weapon and the ornament.
It’s better to have Crucible, Gambit and Vanguard all go towards your progress instead of having to focus on one of them, and the way to get the Ornaments is just completely and utterly stupid.

On face value, that's what it would look like. However, when I reached the required ranks I got a couple of cores, umbrals and a pinnacle along with the Ornament. Pretty handy for playing casually and eventually reaching that point. I took my time and didn't bother with the grind. Just played until I got there. Stay cool, legendary gear drops regularly along the way.

I mean you did have almost 6 months to do it.

if you did your weekly pinnacles, you would have had it very early on in the season

Even with a standard 3 month season it’s pretty easy to accomplish. Not really understanding the outrage here. Especially considering it is just an ornament.
