You have had two years pratically to come out with some new maps or "fix" as you said the maps you vaulted.
Just put all the maps back in the game that you took out so we can have some diversity for christ's sake.

2 RepliesI miss the leviathan map, it was such a massive map. The dreaming city map was really big too, massive and ideal for long range weapons like scouts. The trials of the nine map was another massive map ideal for scouts and snipers with enough cover for shotguns to close the gap. Man so many good D2 maps that got sunset for no reason, pvp maps should not ever get sunset or removed. All maps should be available for variety. I honestly don’t think many people would be so angry about maps if we had access to every single map that has been released on D2.

6 RepliesYou don't understand development. They revamped their development engine. This can take many years let alone weeks and months. They pretty much then have to revamp everything. It's not like going to a basic office job and few clicks on Microsoft word. Things take time. Developers have lives away from work.

I hear Halo Infinite and Call Of Duty Vanguard will have some new maps , try those instead of complaining here
-
32 RepliesI say just get rid of pvp. This is a pve game, and only like 10% of the player base plays pvp. So they could just focus completely on pve and make the vast majority of players happy and bring in lots more new players who want a good pve sci-fi multiplayer shooter. And think of how much more fun guns will be when they don’t have to worry about balancing everything for the BS game mode that everyone hates anyway.

I miss all the Y1 content that I paid for, and can never access again. I've been told it had to be trimmed to free up "space" and "memory". However, we have no problem increasing vault sizes so people can horde more junk. 🙄
-
8 RepliesHalo infinite is going to tank the PVP population. The game will survive, but it's clear that a lot of people are looking for something new. With Halo infinite being free-to-play, a lot of people are going to drop this game for something better
-
7 RepliesPvP is dying already. If Halo Infinite is good, that'll be the game I play. -blam!- Bungie and their lack of PvP maintenance for the casual playerbase.
-
2 RepliesThey can't just return them. The maps have to be rebuilt. I don't care for the delay either, but there is nothing we can do except wait. In a previous TWAB Bungie stated that it took 3 months to rebuild Rusted Lands, and the build consumed a great amount of resources. It is going to be a long and boring wait. Halo Infinite will be released on 12/7/21. You might want to play it until more maps are available in D2.

Edited by A_mo: 9/2/2021 2:17:17 AMI'm not going to argue that no maps I till witch queen is a good thing. But considering all the other stuff they are doing and have been doing, you can understand why. At least there's a whole lot of other stuff going on. And there will be maps eventually. Plus every single mode in PvP that I've played feels different. Even comp feels better overall. That's stuff that takes a lot more work than it may seem like. (This doesn't count control because I will not speak of that mode with that... matchmaking or whatever it is.) EDIT: After playing comp today, I have to say I was wrong about that. Unless of course rocket launchers got one hell of a nerf.

You have had two years pratically to come out with some new maps or "fix" as you said the maps you vaulted. Just put all the maps back in the game that you took out so we can have some diversity for christ's sake.
Am I the only one that doesn’t care about new maps? 😂

Edited by Obscure Meme: 8/31/2021 12:53:56 PMReally don’t get why the PVP maps were vaulted. Ok the planets sure, but obviously the multiplayer maps were separate instances and could be left alone. I miss the gambit maps that were removed too.
-
It actually makes total sense. Could there have been a new map in beyond light? Yeah sure, but adding one now would be a pretty stupid move on their behalf.

Haloooooooooo

9 RepliesI seriously don’t understand how everyone acts like it’s a budget problem. There is no budget problem. Bungie is a multi billion dollar company. They charge at least 40$ every year as well as 10$ a season. Most games just cost the initial 60$ when you get it. They charged 60$ for the whole game when it released and now they charge 40$ annually for not even a quarter of the amount of content that was in destiny the day it came out. They keep charging us the same price every year but keep giving less and less new content. Point is, they made a whole new game and charged 60$ initially but now we pay 40$ yearly and don’t see anywhere near the amount of new content that was made. Pretty obvious that they have plenty of money but it is not being put back into the game.

4 RepliesI till? WHAT DO YOU TILL?
-
I don't play it enough to care but at the same time what difference will adding more map yeah there's favourites but really what you want is map memory and strategy
-
1 ReplyBut then Bungie can't sell them back to later with more bugs in it. You obviously don't understand greed. Their strategy is: 1. Make people pay for something 2. Take it away 3. Make people pay for it again 4. Recycle old thing and call it new 5. Take away old thing 6. Make people pay for "new" thing that is old 7. Repeat from step 2 With their current track record the witch queen will probably be recycled d1 and d2 content with new dialog on missions, but they probably added more bugs. So there is some addition?
-
6 RepliesThey need a season where they dedicate all their time to all the core playlists, it’s beyond a joke at this point..
-
1 Replydon't count on getting it then. They are only saying that to sell the crappy reskinned content. All the gonna dos are nothing but bs.
-
8 RepliesThey don't make money off maps, but they can charge practically £90 for a dlc bundle. Greed is the reason PvP is so stale of maps and modes
-
Yhea because making new map will fix PvP issues....
-
If you want “diversity”, try playing different games.
-
5 RepliesBungies resources are primarily focused on content that makes them money. Now that trials is considered a part of that, they now have to invest more in pvp. Though I don’t plan on doing trials when it comes out.
-
1 ReplyEvery D1 and D2 map should be here and then done. Don’t ever touch or add maps again. First Light all the way to Gamblers Ruin. Don’t take any out, and since PvP is free, don’t bother adding any in unless the population oddly rises dramatically to do so.
-
1 ReplyIts pvp dude it doesnt play a big part
-
6 RepliesWell imo content is the bigger problem, I made a thread about it but I give up. Hype is keeping this game alive and will continue to do so, they don't care about proper content. I mean look at seasonal activity it is just the "blind well" put into a seasonal activity its cheap as hell. Where is seasonal strikes? seasonal pvp maps? seasonal activities?
