Please answer this question bungee

In a mercy ending do you allow a team to stay together and then in the next game be matched against one or more of the previous losing team. If so you are dishonest when at the end of the mercy game you say you are splitting the teams up. Because you would accept you only split up one of the teams. If you’re not willing to answer this maybe people in the community can.

  • In a normal game, when it ends, all players stay in the same matchmaking pool. If no one leaves, the same players will be in the next match. If people do leave, it matchmakes new players into the open spots. After a game that ends in a mercy, when it says it's splitting up the teams, that just means it's sending everyone back into a fresh matchmaking search. It does not mean you are guaranteed to not see any of the players from your previous game in your next one.
