“Go anywhere you see” lied about Eververse purpose, lied about and throttled XP rates, lied about sunsetting (It was a soft reset to our vaults with no plan to ever be fully implemented). So many lies I’ve forgotten them all. I’m done. The level of monetization in this game - a full price AAA game we pay for full price expansions with no content that force us to further pay for seasons to access content - is already so incredibly monetized and it’s quality has done nothing but fall every single year since Forsaken - since Activision made you get your shit together with the garbage fire you released that was D2 Y1 I’m done. Monetizing - heavily monetizing a feature that has existed in games for decades is over the -blam!-ing line. I’m done with the gaslighting - I’m done with being lied to and I’m done being manipulated. You don’t love this game - you don’t love your fans. I’ve uninstalled the game and broken my disc. I’ve been here since D1 day 1 and I’m done. I’ve put up with everything from D2 vanilla, CoO, I’ve paid full price for everything and I am done. Enough is enough I will not support you leading the industry in monetizing a quality of life feature that has been beloved by players for decades - all out of sheer greed. This is disgusting and you should be ashamed of yourselves. You’re not artists, you’re not gamers. You deliver a slot machine designed by psychologists to encourage as much spending as possible with having to design as little as possible Your content doesn’t suck because you can’t make good content. It sucks because it’s supposed to suck. Because it’s supposed to feed on people with addictive personalities. It’s supposed to keep them just engaged with the game enough that they see the eververse every single day.
