7 helmets and counting....
So between pinnacles and powerfuls I’ve received 7 helmets, it’s sitting at 1309 while other armour is around 1306, please for the love of god give us a choice of reward :(

Imagine if pinnacles dropped as a token, and you then went to whatever Vanguard representative your character was currently. Vu-Vu Zay-Lah for Titans, Ikora for War.....you get the idea. You could then select the drop YOU wanted...thank you J.G. Wentworth!!!

Hence why I don't even bother hitting pinnacle cap anymore. Too much rng, too much time wasted. I refuse to get on and drag my ass, only to get 300 different special weapons.

Edited by Demon_XXVII: 3/18/2021 7:58:13 AMDuring the last IB Week, I ran [b]pinnacles[/b] (Iron Banner + 3 others)....I got x4 Cloaks(+2 boost, 1xCloak(+1) a Rocket Launcher (+1) & for my final reward....Yep, another fvcking Cloak (+1) [b]Class items like Cloaks, Bonds etc are the worst bloody armour piece, they offer nothing but a 42 max[/b] even after the ascendent shard So I logged out, saying “Fvck the power chase!” We’re no more powerful than when we were 300/600/1060 etc The loot grind is appalling, it’s just bad armour stats & weapons with grossly inflated perk pools! It’s just a trick to inflate the time in game, it’s certainly not fun!

That’s some be! Last night the four pinnacles that dropped for me were all boots. This is the problem with the level system.

Who cares... the game is boring. Power grind in every season is boring. Game mechanics are boring. The never ending, reused, repurposed, reissued, recycled, game modes are boring. These game activities are so amazing and original. Kill some shiit, grab orb/ball/buff, insert said orb/ball/buff, rinse and repeat. Bungie = same stale garbage season after season. 21.9 million tracked users and can barely manage 200k concurrent player base worldwide, with a daily average of 600k, which most are the same people signing into burner accounts for endless recovs. Free to play has turned this game into a dumpster fire, among countless other problems.

Just wait until you hit 1310. No primary weapons will drop from your strike, gambit, crucible , pinnacle, or destination specific activities. Prime engrams? Dream on. The only way to get 1310 primary drops that I’ve had was via the 3-6-9 Battlegrounds playlist.

I had thought of putting in a push to get to grandmaster light level to have something to do in the game. Then when I started the pinnacle march only to see helmet after helmet dropping I remembered why I stopped chasing light. With that in mind most players are not getting to even enjoy the endgame as it is protected from those who don't want to play 8 hours a day.
