Worst examples of CGI in films.
Post some examples of the worst CGI that you’ve seen in films. My example to kick things off would have to be the Scorpion King from The Mummy Returns.

3 RepliesMost things from the early-mid 2000s tbh. I recently rewatched all the LOTR films and i was shocked how bad some of the CGI looks today. I was expecting it to look a bit dated but holy hell. Some of the SW Attack of the Clones shots are really bad as well. This is the reason practical effects are ten times better than CGI. You watch Jurassic Park and the dinosaurs still look just as real 30 years later.

The Luke Skywalker cameo in the mandalorian is pretty awful. It made the awful CGI of grand moff targin in Rogue One look good.

[i]Spy Kids[/i] and/or [i]Sharkboy and Lavagirl[/i] come to mind. Scenes look like they came straight out of [i]Reboot[/i]. ... actually, I apologize. That's not fair to [i]Reboot[/i].
