Had a fun day playing comp with some buds yesterday, not having quite as much fun now. We started off this season with the hopes of grinding out legend in survival as early as possible so we could just enjoy the game mode stress free. We grinded out 20 matches yesterday winning 16, a new best for the group. I logged in today to a two week restriction locking me out of all Pvp stating I had been reported by multiple players for having a bad connection. Now I have a Ps5 set up with high speed wired internet which averages 250mbs download and 13mbs upload - my internet is fast. I don’t experience lag and I don’t time out from matches. The only thing I can think of is that my friends are over in the US while I’m in Europe and I’m being punished for bungie’s own sever lag - I have no control over how bungie manages this. I have appealed the ban but likely won’t see any update from bungie - their customer service is nonexistent. I play PvP almost exclusively, as do my friends so this has put a pretty significant dampener on the game for me. Bungie please don’t punish people for just playing the game, you have bigger fish to fry at the moment - just play trials on PC any weekend.
