Bungie, stop doing this with seasonal weapon catalysts
I want Bungie to stop forcing PvP for the catalysts of the seasonal weapons. I personally hate PvP and would love the option to just commit to pure PvE to obtain the catalysts.

I don't mind some pvp with exotics, but due to the horrible state it is in with stasis and cheaters, they need to implement two routes to complete for those that don't want to deal with the bs. It's not about getting gud, it's about the bs state of pvp.

Just doing a single match of Crucible with the bow to get kills was one of the most frustrating moments of my life. I would much rather shit out an entire watermelon. Do not make PvE players do PvP and do not make PvP players do PvE. Just allow the quest to be progressed by multiple methods.

On top of it being a PvE balanced weapon it's bugged as hell too.

Bungie needs to stop doing a lot of things. But yes they need to stop forcing you to play anything (strikes gambit or crucible). You should be able to play whatever you want however you want to achieve most things in the game

6 RepliesThey especially need to stop when its a PvE based weapon AND we are still in the middle of a special weapon meta. Bows can't compete for shit. 120 hand canons are king, 140's are still better than bows, a sidearm will kill quicker. You can sit back but you get sniped or your opponents can and will close the gap and you will be forced to run away or swap to another weapon when you need bow kills. The worst part? You need 2 headshots to kill or you can mark them then you STILL need a headahot to kill. This bow sucks in PvP worse than even most other bows.

Totally agree should never be forced in any game mode can't stand PvP so catalyst are unobtainable to me any many others

3 RepliesThe only problem here is that quest progression is bugged. I just had around 15 clear final blows with this bow, yet only 2 counted. WTF Bungo, are you all brain-dead?

The quest won't even count the explosion kills from Ticuu's Divination. I have gotten ten of them while in Crucible and none have added to progress

Won’t be getting g this catalyst. Total bs to tie a bow to PvP. Was so mad last night I turned it off.

1 ReplyI know how you feel,I only just got my 50 pvp kills for the quest about ten minutes ago which was quite hard for me as i'm not that good with bows in pvp(went a few games without a single bow kill) and now I have to get another 50 :( to actually get the catalyst,People should have the option of pvp or pve.

What gets me is its a purely pve weapon lol, like seriously an entire mechanic of the weapon is useless for pvp..

Does it at least count other players kills for you like the Duality quest did? I completed that part without ever touching the shotgun in crucible.
