A strange man walks into the tavern, who bears a striking similarity to John Watson. However, he takes the appearance of an elf and not a human, short and thin with obsidian black skin, white hair, and glaring red eyes. The man wears a heavy black travelers cloak and finely crafted leather armor. Hanging on his belt is a sword of a dagger befit a king. Their scabbards are well crafted and decorated with the designs of spiderwebs, the hilts are made of some polished onyx colored material, and the pommel of the dagger has a emerald set into it, whilst the swords pommel is carved to the likeness of a spider. He approaches the bar and takes a seat.
“I’d like a glass of wine. Anything made of underground plants or fungi. The world above has a strange taste in food and wine.”

"In fact, have you ever tried Sea Wine?"

“Nay, I cannot day I have tasted much wine from any other place then my own.”

"Then. Let us break a bottle open." [i]I wave my hand, and a green glass bottle appears on the counter, with a capsule out of woven kelp. Two crystal glasses appear as well.[/i]

“Ahh, at least this mage will conjure me a drink.” *He chuckles at a joke others aren’t expected to understand and pours them both a glass. You do notice him quietly sniff the bottle however, the keen rouge trying to figure out of there may be poison contained within the wine.*

"If I wanted you dead I would activate this." [i]I take out a glowing ball of plasma.[/i]

He only seems semi aware of the fact that he even tested for poison, almost like it’s a innate muscle reflex of his. “That is a fair Point. And I’d raise a glass to not being wanted dead yet.”

"I've heard you find mercy a weakness." [i]I take my glass, raise it, and take a sip.[/i]

“It is a Action That leaves you exposed, and thus it is foolish. You have nothing to gain from helping your enemy, so why should you give yourself something to lose?”

"What if you can't be exposed?"

“Everyone has something that can be exploited, no one is without weakness especially the ones who think they have none. And in the shoe term a soared enemy can immediately stab you in the back.”

"Really? Then what would you say one of your weaknesses is? Mine is my rather large family."

“I would rather not talk about such a subject, although family can be a responsibility and a pain. I though we were going to raise these glasses.” *He takes a sip of his wine.*

[i]The wine hits his tongue and he it tastes like a normal white wine, dry and coarse. The longer he holds it in his mouth, the sweeter it gets. After a few seconds, it changes to the sweetest of nectars, sticky and delightfully sweet, sweet, but not too overbearing. As it slips down your throat, it decreases in sweetness so it won't upset your stomach.[/i]

“A very interesting drink, it dissipates the dryness of a throat but is maybe a bit too sweet. Where did you say you got it?”

"It is made in my realm."

“You have a realm of your own? I though you left the abyss.”

"My father ruled the abyss. I rule the seas, in more ways then one."

“Complete Control? So you have control over the waters and all that live in it? And you are over 30,000 on top of that. How does one even gain such a power as you describe, don’t be offended if I don’t quite believe everything.”

"All seas everywhere in existence? No. I have better then many, but not complete control over water itself. My realm is a near 6,000 square mile triangle on the north coast of Offtopic. Along with a 300 square mile triangle on the south coast. I have complete and utter control of reality in those places."

“That is quite a realm, and quite some control of it. I wouldn’t wish to say anything wrong but I don’t even know if some gods have that much control over their subjects. Of corse some do though.”

"Well, I find trying to say you "rule" people rather distasteful."

“Then what would you say? You guide them? Command them?” *He takes another sip of the wine.*

"I'd like to say we are equals, but as I am the creator of the realm they seem insistent on treating me with respect."

“And respect you most likely deserve, you are their leader and you give them your whole realm.”
