The exact wording from the TWAB (emphasis added):
• All mods that have an Enhanced version of that mod (i.e. Enhanced Hand Cannon Loader) have had the base mods’ efficacy increased to match that of the Enhanced version of the mod. • As a result, those Enhanced mods have been deprecated, and the base mods’ energy costs have been adjusted upward slightly (but are still lower than the equivalent Enhanced mods).
Many armor mods that improve weapon performance have enhanced versions. When BL goes live, the enhanced versions will be removed from the game. The standard versions will have their effects improved to match those of the current enhanced versions of the mods, but their energy cost to slot them into armor will be increased (although their cost will be lower than that of the current enhanced mods). As such you can stop farming to obtain the enhanced mods. (΄◉◞౪◟◉`)

 • That's really so odd that they won't have two versions of the mods, i feel like with 2 versions you can work around different builds better and this will restrict it. That sucks haha. Thanks for clearing it up, I don't know why but your post definitely made it a lot more clear. Cheers!! :)
