Isn’t that what you want? I mean all you PvP guys always say git gud. Well they are better now and you’re complaining? Jesus that’s all PvPers do is -blam!-ing complain and whine like little -blam!-. All day, whaaaa whaaaa whaaa just shut the -blam!- up.

1 ReplyHonestly, I’ve never liked autos in Destiny. Just not a fan of them. That being said, they seem a bit overtuned.
-
That statement that you are bad but using an auto makes you better is really misleading. Using a better weapon in any case SHOULD make you perform better because you are using what’s best. But please explain any situation where a bad player using an auto rifle when everyone else is makes them decent? I know players all have different skill sets to factor in like for an example a .7 who sucks at tracking with an auto rifle may lose to a .6 who mains auto rifles. But the same can be said about literally every meta since using it should boost your performance. Everyone is capable of using an auto rifle so if everyone is on the same playing field then how does it make one bad player decent. I’d love to get some reasoning because that’s illogical as far as I can see. Autos take skill they have a skill floor and ceiling comparable to other weapons

8 RepliesEdited by Dante: 8/31/2020 9:51:19 AMone of the best ttks ingame extreme ease of use requires half~ bodyshots for optimal ttk can chalange pulses and scouts at their range dmg perks drasticaly boost ttk lasers on pc perks that incrase their already ease of use by just holding trigger huge magazine size flinch you into another dimension with high cals seems perfectly balanced to me.

If you can't outplay a "bad player" with a 600 rpm auto, you may in fact also be bad. They could use a slight range nerf, but they are far from the automatic win condition many on this forum seem to think they are. I can dominate with pulses, hand cannons, and autos right now and this is the most diversity I've seen in crucible in quite a while. Let's not ruin it because you can't adapt to the fact that in a straight up ttk gunfight autos are now great. Cover is your friend, utilize it.

8 RepliesHand cannons do the same on pc. Anyone with half decent aim looks like a kovaaks aim star with those truck sized hitboxes and literally 0 recoil. I main hand cannons and I find autos boring to use but I’m not going to pretend hand cannons are skillful, hard weapons to use.

13 RepliesEdited by Bismarck: 9/1/2020 12:10:22 AM3/10 of the most used (top 10) weapons are auto rifles. The difference between number 1 (gnawing hunger) and number 2 (revoker) is ~4%. This is the biggest difference out of all of the weapon usage. 600 rpm autos have a pre nerf Lunas ttk. Yet are more forgiving. Gnawing hunger has double the percentage of kills in crucible compared to the 2nd most used weapon. Gnawing hunger has a higher headshot percentage (slightly, but still ridiculous) than revoker, the most used sniper. Nahhhh, they're balanced man, totally balanced.

6 RepliesFirst remove shotguns and snipers and then lets talk hand cannons. Whine whine whine Whine whine whine So tired of the Whine whine whine! Always whining about some weapon that's not their choice. If I had my way we'd get tracking back on Jotunn so I could just sit back and ionize all the whiners.

Edited by Racebum: 9/1/2020 5:21:38 AMIt's still a heck of a lot more fun than btch pistols. Aka handcannons

Outside of GH, the 600s all have compromises to make. Galliard if you want range, you sacrifice handling. Handling, you sacrifice range. Arc Logic has quite limited range and stability leaving it handicapped against the other 600s. GH being handed out like candy, and having very good base stats means that it is often the best option. Because ut was a reckoning reward, it had stats and rolls that were the strongest of its archetype and now that it's easily farmable, Is the most common weapon in pvp. I often run demolitionist weapons, and since GH can have good rolls with demolitionist, it never leaves my inventory. My best Arc Logic roll just doesn't hold any ground against GH. My best Galliard is effective at longer ranges, but has less versatility in closer ranges with lower handling. I often swap in outlast or even infinite paths and old fashioned to change things up a bit... but GH has much more versatility for faster pace and choices in range of engagement. I personally do not feel that the TTK buff made was warranted honestly. I felt it was in a good place before, but there were fewer 600 options available before the buff. Arc Logic was really the only readily accessible option, and it has nothing really going for it outside of moving target compared to GH.

1 ReplyBad players are making auto rifles meta without skill. Put autos back to where they were, at the bottom. Make HC's and Scouts the Meta.
-
Sweet Business when fully spun up kills faster that 600s Stay strong. And never stop firing guardians 😎
-
It's madness. Its destiny.
-
I think they are pretty good. If less skillful people use them to improve or get bounties done easier then so be it. The only change they need is a bit less range or maybe a bit less in the mag
-
You don't say 🤔
-
Lol. Im ok with scrubs having autos. If they think they are getting better, let them feel good.
-
This is what Bungie wants unfortunately..so just slap on a SUROS yourself and bag every 600 RPM user that thinks they're good at the game.
-
True but hey, now i enjoy other games more and if this won’t change then no beyond light for me :-)
-
It’s madness. Tune the 600s down!
Per your title That’s a good thing if they make bad people decent, wouldn’t an auto in turn make good people really good Don’t you like a challenge
-
MAUA 2020, make auto-rifles useless again. Scout Rifle meta for 2020!
-
-
That's how it's been in CoD (which has a persistent AR/SMG meta) for years. It's not "spray n pray" it's "spray n kill".
-
The same thing could be said about any "bad player" that uses any of the primary or special weapons that are a ohk as their go to (in PvP at least).

Edited by Infamous067: 8/31/2020 2:48:44 PMThis is a bad thing? I personally don’t mind it, I use pulse rifles and I constantly engage at a pulse rifle’s intended range and usually win my fights vs 600rpm auto rifles. I think the more variety we have, the better. Screw the wannabe “aim skill” players that claim using hand cannons take skill, those guys are ignorant and clearly have no idea that all weapons are meant to be lethal. You don’t see the military in real life running around with revolvers, even if destiny is a fantasy game, I find it silly how dominant hand cannons are compared to rifles at medium ranges. I wouldn’t mind if hand cannons were able to 2 tap at side arm ranges to tell you the truth, obviously bungie would have to change their fire rate just a bit. We wouldn’t want a 180 2 tapping people, it could 3 tap instead of 4.

Well it’s not making me look any better lol.
