Shadowkeep was a tad rushed and was delayed a few weeks because of this. Definitely a time crunch and not showing Bungie’s full potential.
Beyond Light will show the community whether or not the game will improve since Activi$ion left. This is what a 100% bungie made Destiny will look like.
It’s looking hopeful with the return of the stranger and whole new subclasses brought with a new element.

4 RepliesHow many excuses will you guys keep giving bungie? The game has been in their hands for a while now...it’s still a clusterf***

Doesn’t matter. With Luke ”PowerCreep” Smith still in charge of game direction it’s 100% going to be 1 step forward and Three steps back.

I’m most concerned about the amount of content. Seeing if Bungie is or isn’t able to make a substantial amount of content at least once a year will be the most telling thing about the game moving forward.

1 ReplyHell yes. The development cycle being what it is, this should be the proof in the pudding. No new huge technical issues like FTP and Steam. No plans that had to be approved by a publisher before entering the work schedule. No limitations on vision and business models. A smaller content ecology to support. Opportunities only limited by imagination and the inevitable baggage of a 3 year old game. And they're cutting down on the baggage. Bungie has owned up to making some serious mistakes. They've admitted the game needs a major renovation. They say they have a vision and a plan. I hope they're right. We shall see.
