Probably not. They’ll just reissue the exact same gear with a different tag. Meaning you’ll just end up grinding for the same weapon you already have. That’s stupid. If they want people to use new weapons then provide incentives to use said weapons. Most new weapons just have shitty perk pools anyway so people don’t want to switch to new stuff. They could’ve made the new weapons special by having an extra perk (and give it a good perk pool). Make new and more noticeable intrinsic perks. That way there’s incentive to use new weapons without forcing you to use them just to participate in any content that matters. Not to mention that you’re old gear can still be useful. This just makes everything feel pointless Sunsetting is not the best way forward.
