1 ReplyEdited by Jonny_ Reggae: 6/3/2020 3:59:48 PMI don't care what content creators or streamers say, it's a loot persuit game if they don't like it they can go play something else their opinion is nothing to me, sunsetting is happening that's that, they just need to turn the dial down on time to grind and weapons that are obviously pvp should be obtained by grinding pvp or iron banner not in rotated nightfalls.

130 Replies....and what do all these people have in common? They are either PVP content creators: Cammycakes, Mtashed, Azetcross Or "Destiny News" creators: Houndish, Mesa Sean, MoreConsole, KackisHD. None of them have a relationship to the game that is based in PVE, or have strong gaming backgrounds in MMOs or RPGs. Because all of those guys who are Destiny content creators are not only in favor of sunsetting....they've all been calling for it for some time. Some---like Datto---from the first year of the franchise.

2 RepliesDon't know who they are, nor do I care. Bungie has been sunsetting forever, and re-skining. No one cared before. Even crapped on those of us who hated it. Now that the game is bad and bungie put a name to what they've been doing (sunsetting) everyone wants to complain? You guys are always late to the party. So is bungie. I'm not at all for sunsetting nor have I been for years, but I'm not surprised with the direction the game is moving in. It's time to move on or embrace the changes. I'm moving on(-ish).

Yamabushi you make some valid points and i agree that eververse should be removed from this game. But Whether we wanted it or not, we’ve stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let’s get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta’aurc. From what I can gather he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defences, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

In order for sunsetting to work, bungie would have to create new weapons and armor for all activities in the game. I can only imagine how confused new players will be when they play something like the menagerie and they have no clue why they can’t infuse it to max power.

While sunsetting is bad, Funny story: Remember that Centurion Oryx took right after you landed on the Dreadnaught, then the Centurion and the taken Ogre tried to stop you from killing the King? Heh... didn't work. So the Centurion's bond brothers are pretty angry they lost their commander. They're leading a team to blow up the Dreadnaught's core. Core goes... most of the system goes with it. You're going to make sure that doesn't happen.

i think weapon sunsetting is a net possitiv as long as bungie is able to release enough good and fun weapons to replace the old and maybe a saison prior before the old one sunset. if thats the case im all for it. That being said, i think sunsetting armor makes no sence at all in Destiny. ist not like the armor has setbonuses like in rpg's etc. And with transmog coming it makes no sence at all. Also the grind for the perfect armor on all 3 chars takes forever and its pure rng.

Seriously though guys, it isn't impossible for people to share the same opinion. It isn't suddenly "listening to them" to link another's perspective on an idea you feel similarly with/agree on.

Having the pressure to get every guns every seasons is not cool. Even if i wanted to go full free to play, the new destination(s) will have a high light power required, every gun that can't be infused won't be useful even in exploration. Gambit will be even harder for new players and casuals, reducing even more its population. Sunsetting has much more flaws and problems than qualities.
