What am I suppose to use now?
I'm like one of the few people that actually uses a low impact fusion. once you guys sunset weapons the only low impact fusion that will be viable is the zealots reward, and Techeun Force. That's it! what am I suppose to use then? I like using low impact fusions I don't want to be forced into becoming a telesto or jotun spammer if I only have 2 viable options or really 1 because Techeun Force is not as consistent as zealots. I thought weapon sunsetting was suppose to add variety. but it really doesn't seem that way seeing as how for example you guys have only added 1 540 in the past 6 seasons. So if you kill the weapons from season 10 and below I'll have no alternative for low impact fusions which I enjoy using. And its the same for other people that use non meta weapons as well.
I guess I'm going to have to say goodbye to my vertical orbit sidearm as well. that thing got me through a lot of crucible matches.

12 Replies.... keep using whatever you want. All these posts make it seem that the guns will be removed. 🤦♂️ They are still there and will be quite viable. I seem to recall an iron banner where players were encouraged to play 100 levels below and did quite well. Weapon sunsetting is not going to kill community entitlement is far worse.

17 Replies1. We only have HALF the picture. 2. Sunsetting doesn't start until the Fall. So that means Bungie has both this season that starts in 2 weeks AND the fall to add new weapons to fill in the gaps created by the infusion cap. 3. Unless---once again----you are going into Trials, the raid that drops in the Fall, any new dungeon that drops, Iron Banner or the highest level NF.....you can still use the weapons you currently have.

18 RepliesThey'll probably make at least one weapon of every archetype viable at all times going forwards. You know, something that'd make sense. Bungie knows that the people who play solely to use a specific gun are an extreme minority, but they know they exist.

3 RepliesI’ve had a lot of fun using different guns than my usual 5 or 6. There’s a lot of variety (less bc of sunsetting but whatever), and a lot of things that ppl don’t use a lot are actually really fun. Try some different things, expect to fail at first, and don’t take the game too seriously, and you MIGHT just have fun.

2 RepliesI love the "You can still use them" arguments, like what mouthbreathers log in to play just patrol and maybe strikes... I know you weirdos exist but you shouldn't be the benchmark for where people can still have fun in the game with the weapons they like.

Now? Don’t worry about it as you have pretty close to 100 days from this point at minimum before you even need to worry about it.

Backup Plan + Auto Loading means it's always ready to fire. My favorite roll has been auto loading + high impact reserves + liquid coils + boss spec to squeeze the most damage out of it vs. yellow bars.
