Bungie is removing 3664 legendary items from us when season 12 hits. Look it up on lightgg for yourself.
Bungie, what I want to know is:
Are you planning on finally giving us a vendor refresh?
Are you planning on changing the loot in Menagerie?
Are you planning to change the loot from Blind Well?
Can we expect a change in the loot in the Forges?
What about nightfall specific drops? There are nightfalls with no loot and others that still have static rolled loot.
Is Crucible and Gambit getting anything new?
How about a refresh to Escalation Protocol? Armor 2.0 but static rolled weapons? Maybe surprise us with something new? A new boss or how about a new weapon (s)?
If you answer no to these are we getting sunsetted gear from these?
Everything from Banshee, failsafe, Sloane, Devrim, Ashir, Zavala, Shax, Salidin, Drifter ect will be sunset in season 12, is this getting attention?

BIG EDIT:
After finally getting a chance to read the TWAB, this is worse than I thought.
3664 legendary items getting sunsetted?
Maybe you plan on giving us more in future TWABs?
Actions speak louder than words, this is your chance to blow us away, dont blow it.

8 Replies"But you can still use sunset gear in most of the game!" Be prepared to hear that a lot when they inevitably don't update any of that stuff.
-
2 RepliesYou do realize this has happened before. There will be no new weapons to grind for. Events will not be updated. You will have to grind the same gear and weapons again. You will waste more resources to get what you already had before. Nothing will change. This is how is going to go. This is why so many left again.

Sounds great. Personally I wish they would remove everything each annual expansion and reset.

3 RepliesEdited by CookieNiki: 5/23/2020 8:20:58 PM
A list of weapons that are getting a season 11 reprise right before sunsetting the majority of these. What in the Actual F is the point of sunsetting these just to give them immediately back to us? Couldn't you just have made these weapons immune from the sunset for 1 more season?
Could you explain what you mean with that? Aren't those weapons the world pool for the next season? Why do you say they're going to be given back to us immediately after sunsetting? Honest question because I read the TWAB but I'm not getting your point, not trying to troll or anything.

1 ReplyBungie “I’m taking your loud and fast toys away” Also bungie “ okay you can have them back but I took the batteries out”
-
1 ReplyYou aren't going anywhere.
-
3 RepliesThey can barely make 6 weapons each season, what makes you think they will replace all that?
-
Ya will continue playing anyway lol that’s why Bungie gets away with everything they do.
-
2 RepliesI'm ready to pre order the series X with Halo Infinite whenever I can, should look great with my new hdmi 2.1 TV 😁
-
4 RepliesEdited by CookieNiki: 5/21/2020 3:07:41 PM100% agreed. As a defender of sunsetting I already said that it will only work if Bungie deliver in all fronts without excuses or delays. And I do have my Cyberpunk 2077 preordered, so if they fail to deliver I'm already covered up for a very long time after September 17.

48 RepliesI’m sorry but this is stupid. Why would all the seasonal horde modes get refreshed loot if you thought they would that’s on you. Bungie could put loot from the old seasonal activities in them but why make new weapons for that old content.
-
1 ReplyThey are just killing off all of the Vendors and NPCs in the Almighty conclusion, just like destroying our vaults in D2. "YoU GuYs ArE NoT ReADY" Luke Smith
-
3 RepliesYou do know it is rumored all of the Leviathan raids and locations like tribute & menegarie, all black armory content is going bye bye as in gone in season 12. That's a ton less "new" loot to add ;) Don't believe the theory, ask yourself, if only last wish and garden don't expire, what does that mean is happening to the activities associated with the "end game content" drops expiring. Good thing we didn't pay for all if year one and the seasons in year 2 expecting we could fire then up whenever down the road like d1 right?

1 ReplyI feel they’ll pull a Destiny 1 and leave some activities in the dust. For me, what absolutely must be updated are the following: -Strike Playlist (and Zavala) -Nightfall Strikes -Gambit -Gambit Prime -Reckoning (as it is an extension of Prime) -Crucible Playlists (and Shaxx) -Trials (although they’ve made it clear they will be updating this) -Iron Banner -Gunsmith -World Drop Pool (and Rahool’s engram) What I’d like to also see: -Menagerie/Heroic Menagerie -Forges -All Raids except GoS and Last Wish (as they are already remaining as exceptions to sunsetting). What I think is minimum priority but should still be looked at and considered: -World Vendors -Blind Well/Dreaming City -Blues and other lesser items? How is that going to work? Might have missed a few things but that’s where I’d put most of those things. Basically, hit everything in the first list and I will be satisfied, hit some or all of the other items and they will exceed my expectations. There are a lot of question marks here too. They said they are considering removing one of the Gambit playlists, how will that affect this? If they remove Prime, I’d knock Reckoning down to where Menagerie is. If they remove regular Gambit then there aren’t many complications other than maybe the Dredgen title and Malfeasance (how would those work). Titles in general: are all these titles just going to be chasing irrelevant stuff or will the badges be updated to reflect that? Will some titles be retired? I hope Bungie brings some much needed clarification as we inch closer and closer to Fall.

1 ReplyD2 Y1 Bungie; we got Dire promise for faction rallies, get to grinding. D2 Y3 (Worthy) Bungie; we brought back Dire promise with random rolls, go get it. Bungie; you know that god roll Dire Promise you grinded out for, yeah...do it again. https://youtu.be/IcYHdaUx3hA

31 RepliesBetter start looking for new games... Cyberpunk 2077 September 17th ^_^
-
2 RepliesIts all to extend play time looks good for bungie if people log on
-
1 ReplyIt's funny that you think that they would actually change those lol
-
12 RepliesMuted

3 RepliesContent is hard.
-
2 RepliesEven if they were prepared, the new loot will be useless 4 seasons later.
-
1 ReplyPlease edit Escalation Protocol in that list as well as strikes
-
All valid questions, have a bump from me.
-
1 ReplyThis is exactly what the heck we said was going to happen. "O were sunsetting weapons so we can actually provide new ones" you know what the rest of us said? We said hmmmmm smells like some bull. Because it is.
-
3 RepliesDire promise =dire promise
-
1 ReplySunsetting our stuff basically means they don’t need to refresh anything because our old god rolls suddenly can’t compete in end game activities so we have to re-grind new god rolls. Which I’m betting will be exactly the same as the old god rolls.
