Get rid of the damn Rank Up banner
Or is that something that requires balance testing?

1 ReplyThis has been brought up repeatedly for at least 2 years now and every time we get a "will be passed along to the team" but obviously nothing is done about it. There's that and they've also been asked several times to do something about the blinding white screen at sign in. Same response, never any action.

So freaking annoying to see rank up and sub rank up banners blocking the screen back to back when I'm trying to delete these stupid blues that still show up. Bungle just forcing us to spend more time doing dumb crap. CRAP!

Why am I getting rank up messages while not even in that activity eg, during strikes etc?

Stuff that is so absurd, so utterly blatantly a bad idea, that I'm left wondering how they implemented it. I mean how DID no one mention at the pitch of "We're gonna display a banner across the entire screen, in the middle, that's wayyy too big and lasts wayyy too long during every rank-up!" that this might be a little annoying? Just boggles the mind. Just like the initial Mountaintop or Malfeasance questlines, or deleting shaders only one at a time during year one. They either have a massive problem with their QA-department or the people at the top never listen when someone tells them "This is a bad idea, don't do this."

God I HATE that rank-up banner popping up on top of what I'm trying to do in my inventory at the time. Of course, I hate being pulled out of my inventory every time I load into a new destination, too.

2 RepliesI agree. We have been asking for this for this since D2 launched - nothing was ever done and Bungle has never officially acknowledged they even care. None of the games I play are as obnoxious about minor rank ups as Destiny is.

I like the idea behind it, I hate the size and location of it. Maybe but it at the bottom or top of the screen as a small bar and also get rid of the sub ranks, only actual rank changes.

2 RepliesThe rank up banner is annoying. I really don’t need that much congratulating for going from Brave I to Brave II. The worst part is that it looks like it would be a quick and easy fix. Just change it to the Triumph style notification.
