Old gear ? Old maps?? Nice. Content is hard eh? You had years .... and this is the best you came up with ? Yikes.
Edit- some of you are saying “certain ppl asked exactly for old stuff” yeah because bungo took 2 years to bring this mode back. They “worked” on it for that long and all they have to show for it is ....? Why did it take that long for the same mode with same gear with same maps ? This version of trials coulda launched with forsaken lmao. Ppl asked for old stuff cause they grew so impatient waiting for trials to come back that we resorted to just saying “ok if you’re gonna take that long then just bring back the stuff that worked “ but instead we waited and waited and waited just to have nothing new ? Bravo! If you accept that then I feel so sorry for you. This literally is just marketing and advertisement to trick ppl into getting a new season lol that’s the only reason it took so long lol
And for those saying “it’s free!!” Tell me how you plan to keep up leveling with out the season pass? Cause it has XP boosts on there, armor drops that are high light , and exotics and other weapons that are high light , and infusion materials , and access to whatever next seasons “sundial” is which will be more powerful rewards weekly etc etc and of course bungo made trials light level enabled so stop pretending that a free to play person can keep up with out actually buying the season pass LOL

I can't wait to see LFG Xbox flooded with "Guaranteed Carries for Cash" in Season of the DOS. Bungle brings back all the old content and still has no Regional Dedicated Host Servers.
-
7 RepliesNow we know why everything got nerfed hard as shit. Now we know pvp still controls the balance of the whole -blam!-ing game. Now some of us know to not play. Go on, send your insults my way, but I'll be completely honest...I literally feel nothing. Not mad, or happy. Just over all of this history repeating itself bullshit. Don't fill like bungie is learning, I could be wrong. Idk

Me and my friends wil play it

15 RepliesThis is what I don't get about the community aka the Bungie Forums. Everyone was moaning about Trials not coming back for a while and they want D1 Trials Stuff in D2 Trials and when they do that the community goes 'OMG WE DIDNT ASK FOR THAT' like wtf? Stop asking for stuff then moan about old stuff coming back. I didn't mind Trials coming back and to be honest I didn't want it to come back due to hackers but apparently they going to quest lock it which helps a little depending how long the quest is.
-
Don't care about trials other than the eventual nerf fest that will occur because of it. I just hope PvE has something good. Not holding my breath for this coming season...
-
Just like the game has failed now? I'm no fan boy but let's not get out of control....
-
2 RepliesI cannot fathom how anyone would want and be happy with chunks of D1 content being brought back. I already paid for that content when I played D1 and got my enjoyment out of it, I don't want to go backwards to something I've already done! If ppl want to play D1 content then just play D1. This game is starving for actual new refreshing content and this season looks like it's bringing nothing to the table.
-
I’m ok with trials coming back. My only issue with it is light advantages and the stinky hunter armor from year one. I would have liked the rise of iron armor personally.
-
4 RepliesI honestly think that trials will be successful. Mostly because those of us pvpers have wanted it for so long.
-
I'm excited for Trials and sooo happy we get my favorite armor sets from D1.

Edited by blade329: 2/26/2020 4:10:35 PMI'm not a fan of Trials, but I don't want it to fail. However, you can see the problems that will happen from a mile away. Cheating on the PC is going to be an epidemic. Lesser skilled players are going to be very frustrated, since they won't have much of a chance to get to the lighthouse. You will have the many wannabe Cruci-gods who aren't good enough, but think they are, trying to get everything in the game modified so they can win.
-
I'm happy to b1tch about anything Bungie, they do some ridiculous things, but, much of community have asked for exactly this. Good on bungie for listening in this instance.
-
I mean.. I’m gonna play it every weekend regardless, it’s all better looking than the current crucible inventory.
-
Lol. Wrong. Title should not read Trials will fail. No. It should read Trials has failed.

We can only hope. JMO

17 Replies“We don’t like the new content! Bring back the old content!” “Okay, here’s the old content you asked for.” “Stop recycling old content! Give us new content!” The Destiny community vs Bungie in a nutshell can be summed up by asking for something, they give you that something, and then you complain about it.
-
9 RepliesI'm perfectly fine with the returning maps. That's the one piece of recycled content I'm ok with across all games. Porting maps from previous installments to the latest is normal and almost always welcome (at least to any gaming community except the destiny community for whatever reason). The old armor though.......yeah that's a complete letdown and I can't even try to defend that. At the very least they could have made new armor. But what's it mean to me? I wont play trials anyway. And that's another thing. Trials CANNOT be the only thing to happen this season. Trials on it's own is not enough content to warrant playing this season. It's simply a more competitive version of a game mode we already have in the game with different rewards. Most players will leave if that's it. I for one would most likely take a long break for this season if it is the case.

Where the hell is rift?

2 RepliesDid people actually enjoy Trials before? I mean I'm sure some people did, but I dont remember it ever being an activity that the majority of players liked or even touched. I thought people just suffered through it for the weapons and armor?

Way too late. Bungie intended for this so-called sequel to be accessible for 'casual' players and be a 'collections' game. Shortly after D2 released the player-base plummetted. Bungie tried for the first year to sustain this 'casual' experience only to fail. Then for some odd reason, Bungie over-corrected and made the game so over complicated and anti-casual that it was nearly impossible for players to complete any kind of 'collection'. Now Bungie are just in 'float' mode - adding sub-par content occasionally with very little effort. Every employee working at Bungie knows that they screwed up trying to cater to the SJW movement and make an all-inclusive casual gaming experience. But they are still intentionally using every chance for lucrative gain that they can. Basically - it was a failure at the start and a failure at every attempt at 'fixing' it. Now its just a cash generator that feeds on the foolish players that remain addicted to a broken shell of a game.

Agreed, Season of Cancer and Nerfs is going to bomb. #removePvP

3 RepliesTrials of revoker. Streamers will get their views, carries will earn their buck. Avarage players will get frustration by abundance of cheaters. Usual stuff. I regret getting season of worthy when buying shadowkeep 😅

Bruh we asked for old trials back, we got old trials back. It ain’t about recycled loot(which isn’t entirely ture as new weapons were shown in the vid). It’s about recapturing those old memories in trials that made it special.
-
Idc about the old stuff they’re bringing back. I just know trials will be broken like everything else pvp related. Pvp is so bad in this game

Hopefully 👍
