A lot of people argue that, statistically, they should exist. However, I think it’s simple statistical elements that rule out their existence. The existence of a planet capable of hosting life does not mean there will suddenly be a combination of particles on said planet creating an organism capable of evolution, asexual reproduction, and sustaining itself off of non-organic substances. Ergo, statistically impossible.
